Shifts to reserve/NFI list The Browns placed Bell (hip) on the reserve/non-football injury list Tuesday, Kelsey Russo of the team's official site reports.

Impact Bell's placement on the reserve/NFI list will force him to miss at least the first four games of the regular season. A dislocated hip suffered mid-September of last year forced him to spend all but one game of the 2024 campaign on IR, but it remains to be seen whether it's the same issue that has held him out of team activities this offseason. A timetable for his expected return remains undisclosed.

Impact Bell dislocated his right hip in mid-September last year and ended the campaign on IR. He didn't participate in OTAs while continuing to recover from the issue, but it's telling that he was placed on the NFI list -- which is used for players dealing with injuries not suffered in practices or games -- rather than the PUP list. According to Mary Kay Cabot of Cleveland.com, the issue that landed Bell on the NFI list isn't clear, and he may not be available soon.

He never got a chance to showcase himself during Cleveland's 3-14 season in which there were opportunities for players like Bell. It's unclear where he stands with regards to the injury, but Bell enters the final season of his rookie deal as one of the more experienced rostered receivers on an offense that will undergo change during the offseason.
