Clear for Thursday Taylor (ankle) doesn't have an injury designation for Thursday's game against the Rams, John Boyle of the Seahawks' official site reports.

Impact Taylor suffered the injury during Sunday's win against San Francisco, but he was able to put in a full practice Wednesday and avoid the questionable tag. The 2020 second-round pick has 11 tackles, three sacks and a forced fumble through four games this year.

Impact Taylor's injury doesn't appear to be that serious, but it'll be worth monitoring with the Seahawks playing Thursday this week. The 24-year-old has played 20-plus defensive snaps in every game this season and has 11 total tackles (nine solo) and three sacks, so his absence would be a big blow to Seattle's defense.

Impact Taylor spent his rookie season on the reserve/non-football injury list with a leg injury. However, the second-round pick completed training camp and preseason healthy, and he's ready to contribute for the Seahawks in Week 1 against the Colts. The Tennessee product was an explosive pass rusher in college, racking up 8.5 sacks and 10.0 tackles for loss in his senior season. The Seahawks have a deep group of defensive ends, but Taylor's ability to line up as a linebacker could afford him some extra reps right away.
