Elevated again Crockett was elevated from the practice squad Saturday, Ryan O'Halloran of The Denver Post reports.

Impact Crockett played 12 offensive snaps in Week 1, but he didn't register any counting stats during his time on the field. This is the second straight week Crockett has been elevated from the practice squad, meaning the team will need to sign the Missouri product to a contract with the active roster in order for him to make an appearance in Week 3.

Impact Crockett was elevated from the practice squad to the active roster prior to the Broncos' Week 1 matchup against the Giants. He didn't log an offensive stat but did take the field as a special teams player. Crockett is a candidate for a similar role in future contests.

Impact Crockett cleared waivers following his release Tuesday. The 23-year-old running back didn't do enough in the preseason to make the the Broncos' active roster. The 5-foot-11, 225-pounder will provide Denver with depth at the position as he continues to develop as a player.

Impact Crockett didn't ultimately see any game action after signing on with the Broncos' practice squad Oct. 22. The 23-year-old will continue to provide depth at the running back position when Denver opens up team activities this spring.
