Impact Blake Jarwin caught one more pass than Schultz and gained more real estate with his grabs, but neither tight end was particularly productive. It will likely take an injury to one of them to make the other a viable fantasy option on a weekly basis.

It could be tough for either tight end to make a consistent fantasy impact as long as both are healthy, but Schultz is more likely to be the secondary receiving option of the duo.

Schultz broke out in 2020 with 63 receptions for 615 yards and four touchdowns after Blake Jarwin went down in Week 1 with a torn ACL. The pair should continue to compete for the starting role at tight end, assuming Schultz's ankle issue doesn't impact his availability for the start of the season.
