Moves to COVID list Clement was placed on the reserve/COVID-19 list Thursday.
Impact Upon discovering Thursday morning that a player within the organization tested positive for COVID-19, Philadelphia shifted a total of five players to the inactive list -- including fellow depth skill-position players J.J. Arcega-Whiteside and John Hightower. The 26-year-old Clement has not been heavily integrated into the offense this season, collecting 19 rush attempts and four receptions over his nine appearances. He missed 12 games last year after being placed on IR with a shoulder injury.

With only 3 wins, first-place Eagles talking about practice

The Philadelphia Eagles are talking about practice
NOVEMBER 19, 2020 • Associated Press
Just one snap Sunday Clement rushed once for five yards in Sunday's 27-17 loss to the Giants.
Impact Clement is primarily a special-teams player with Miles Sanders now back healthy. Even in the three games this season in which the 26-year-old has seen double-digit snaps, he has failed to top six carries or 24 rushing yards.

Gets six touches in win Clement rushed five times for 24 yards and caught one of his two targets for four yards in Sunday's 23-9 win over Dallas.
Impact The Wisconsin product saw at least 18 snaps on offense for the second straight week with Miles Sanders still nursing a knee issue. As expected, Boston Scott significantly outpaced Clement with more than double the playing time and touches. He'll likely revert to a role primarily on special teams if Sanders is healthy coming out of the Eagles' bye in Week 9.

Gets three touches in win Clement rushed twice for nine yards and caught his lone target for 12 yards in Thursday's 22-21 win over the Giants.
Impact Clement saw just 18 snaps on offense even with Miles Sanders inactive due to a knee injury. Boston Scott worked as the lead back in the win, playing 56 total snaps on offense. It doesn't look like Clement will see much action unless both Sanders and Scott are forced to miss time.

FANTASY PLAYS: Players to add include Herbert, Fulgham

FANTASY PLAYS: Players to add for Week 7 include tight end Dallas Goedert and wide receiver Travis Fulgham of Philadelphia and Los Minnesota Chargers quarterback Justin Herbert

Sees light use Week 6 Clement failed to corral his lone target in Sunday's 30-28 loss to the Ravens.
Impact Clement played seven offensive snaps in the contest, his most since the Eagles' Week 1 loss to Washington, when Miles Sanders was sidelined with a hamstring injury. Sanders exited Sunday's contest midway through the third quarter with a knee injury that's expected to keep him out for 1-to-2 weeks, paving the way for Clement to see a slightly expanded workload Week 7 in a Thursday night matchup with the Giants. That said, Boston Scott is likely to operate as the lead option in the Eagles' backfield committee while Sanders is out, so Clement probably can't be counted on to take on double-digit touches if the game proves to be reasonably competitive throughout.
OCTOBER 19, 2020 • ROTOWIRE
Two carries in win Clement rushed twice for three yards in Sunday's 25-20 win over San Francisco.
Impact Clement saw just four snaps in the win. The good news for the Wisconsin product is that at least he has a good shot to get the ball when in the game. The downside is that he has been on the field for a grand total of 13 offensive plays over the last three games.

Eagles, 49ers flip roles in 3 years since previous meeting

The script has flipped in the nearly three years since the previous meeting between the Philadelphia Eagles and San Francisco 49ers
OCTOBER 1, 2020 • Associated Press
Sees just six snaps Sunday Clement rushed three times for eight yards in Sunday's 23-23 tie with the Bengals.
Impact Clement once again played sparingly behind Miles Sanders and saw just six snaps on offense, seven fewer than Boston Scott. Perhaps his most notable contribution to the game was an unnecessary roughness penalty on a second-quarter punt that set the Bengals up at the Eagles' 38-yard line, enabling Cincinnati to kick a field goal just five plays later for its first points of the game. With Sanders healthy, the 25-year-old Clement looks like he'll primarily be a special-teams contributor for the foreseeable future.

Resumes practicing in full Clement (illness) was a full participant in Thursday's practice.
Impact Clement was held out of Wednesday's practice entirely due to an illness, but he's already managed to return in full capacity. He'll suit up as Philadelphia's third running back, behind Miles Sanders and Boston Scott, versus the Bengals on Sunday.
SEPTEMBER 24, 2020 • ROTOWIRE
No practice due to illness Clement did not practice Wednesday due to an illness.
Impact Clement should suit up against the Bengals on Sunday as long as he's able to shake his illness before the contest. The 25-year-old didn't see any touches Week 2 with Miles Sanders back in the lineup, so Clement's status won't carry much of a fantasy impact one way or another.
SEPTEMBER 23, 2020 • ROTOWIRE
Does little with eight touches Clement carried six times for 19 yards and caught both his targets for an additional two yards during Sunday's 27-17 loss to Washington.
Impact In the absence of Miles Sanders (hamstring), Clement received his first offensive touches since the 2018 season. He averaged an underwhelming 3.2 yards per carry and did next to nothing as a receiver outside of an eight-yard gain. Clement could play a role next Sunday against the Rams if Sanders remains out, but even if he does, he seems like a longshot for notable fantasy production.
SEPTEMBER 13, 2020 • ROTOWIRE
Increased duties on tap Clement is slated for an increased role in Sunday's game versus Washington following news that Miles Sanders (hamstring) has been ruled out, Adam Schefter of ESPN reports.
Impact Boston Scott is expected to be the main beneficiary of Sanders' absence, but Clement should garner a decent amount of touches as well. While the 25-year-old running back barely played last year, he's been a formidable depth option and has averaged 4.1 yards per carry in his career while displaying solid pass-catching abilities. He's worth fantasy consideration in deeper formats.
SEPTEMBER 12, 2020 • ROTOWIRE
Ready for Sunday Clement (quadriceps) doesn't have a designation for Sunday's contest in Washington.
Impact Limited by a quad injury Thursday, Clement returned as a full participant to close out Week 1 preparations. With starting running back Miles Sanders (hamstring) questionable for Sunday, the possibility exists for some touches to filter down to Boston Scott, Clement and Jason Huntley this weekend.
SEPTEMBER 11, 2020 • ROTOWIRE
Quad injury surfaces Clement was limited in Thursday's practice due to a quadriceps injury.
Impact Clement wasn't listed on Wednesday's injury report, a hint that he sustained his quadriceps injury during practice. With Miles Sanders (hamstring) also dealing with an injury, the Eagles could lean on Boston Scott to handle an increased workload in Washington on Sunday.

Fills in for Sanders and Scott Clement opened Wednesday's practice as the Eagles' first-team running back, Daniel Gallen of The Harrisburg Patriot-News reports.
Impact The report notes that Elijah Holyfield also rotated in with the first-team at times on Wednesday. The reason for the arrangement is that lead back Miles Sanders is week-to-week with a lower body injury, while his top backup Boston Scott is day-to-day with a lower body issue. Injuries derailed Clement's 2019 campaign, but if he looks good while filling in for Sanders and Scott, he'll help his case to secure a complementary role in the team's backfield this season.
