Impact Beasley ended his retirement earlier this week and now will play with his second organization of the campaign after seeing action for the Buccaneers back in Weeks 3 and 4. This also marks his second stint in Buffalo, so he has all the familiarity one could want for such a late-season addition. In 2021, Beasley hauled in 82 of 112 targets for 693 yards (8.5 YPC, 6.2 YPT) and one touchdown in 16 games for the Bills.

Impact Beasley played a smaller role after being activated by Tampa Bay for the second week in a row, bringing in his lone target for five yards on four offensive snaps against Kansas City. The veteran slot wideout joined the Buccaneers' practice squad to help provide depth for the team's banged-up receiving corps, as Chris Godwin and Julio Jones (undisclosed) returned from injury in Week 4. Beasley also played eight special -teams snaps, and he is now available for one more elevations to the Buccaneers' active roster this season.

Elevated once more Beasley was elevated to the Buccaneers' active roster Saturday, Rick Stroud of the Tampa Bay Times reports.

Impact This comes as no surprise given the Buccaneers are still dealing with a litany of injuries at wide receiver. While Beasley played only nine offensive snaps last week against the Packers, he did catch three of his four targets for 12 yards, with two of those receptions nearly going for first downs. Beasley is eligible to elevated via the practice squad one more time before the Buccaneers will need to make a choice on whether or not to add him to the 53-man roster.

Impact Beasley showed up in a relatively significant role with wideouts Mike Evans (suspension), Chris Godwin (hamstring) and Julio Jones (knee) all sidelined Sunday, hauling in three of four targets for 12 yards over nine offensive snaps. The 33-year-old slot receiver recorded a first down with a four-yard catch in the first quarter, though his next reception did not come until the 12-minute mark in the fourth quarter. Beasley also played three special-teams snaps Sunday, but his primary value will come as a short-yardage receiver moving forward. The veteran is eligible for two more game-day elevations while on the Buccaneers' practice squad this season.
