Back at practice Parkinson (foot) returned to practice Monday, Aaron Wilson of the Houston Chronicle reports.

Impact The rookie fourth-round pick as been on the reserve/non-football injury list all season, but his return to the active roster appears to be on the horizon. Parkinson was also on the NFI list for all of training camp, so it could take awhile for him to get up to speed.

Impact Parkinson -- a fourth-round pick in April -- underwent surgery in June to repair a broken foot, and the rookie has yet to practice with the team. He won't be able to rejoin the team for six weeks as he rehabs the injury, and once he gets healthy, he may need to beat out Luke Willson for the No. 4 tight-end role.

Hits NFI list The Seahawks placed Parkinson (foot) on the active/non-football injury list Monday, Brady Henderson of ESPN.com reports.

Impact Parkinson is recovering from a broken fifth metatarsal in his foot suffered back in June. The rookie fourth-round pick will integrate himself into a crowded tight end room when healthy, so the Seahawks could feel comfortable enough to take a cautious approach with his recovery.
