Impact Rumph has seemingly recovered from the foot injury that landed him on the Chargers' injured reserved last August which caused him to miss the entirety of the 2024 campaign. He will spend the offseason competing for a roster spot and can add value on both defense and special teams.

Impact Rumph played 19 snaps (12 on defense, seven on special teams) in Saturday's contest. Rumph is expected to "miss some time," but when he will return to practice remains unclear. The 2021 fourth-rounder out of Duke finished with five tackles (four solo) across six regular-season games for the Chargers in 2023.

Impact Rumph suffered a knee injury during the Chargers' Week 7 loss to the Seahawks and was unable to practice following the team's Week 8 bye, so it's not surprising to see him ruled out for Week 9.
