Josh Jacobs rushes for 3 TDs, Raiders beat Texans 38-20

Josh Jacobs rushed for 143 yards and three second-half touchdowns, and the Las Vegas Raiders ran away from the Houston Texans 38-20
OCTOBER 23, 2022 • Associated Press
Active in Week 7 Moore (hip) is active for Sunday's Week 7 game against the Raiders, Drew Dougherty of the team's official site reports.
Impact Moore will therefore be active for the first time since Week 4, as he sat out the Texans' Week 5 game before their bye. The veteran should slide back into his usual No. 3 receiver role behind Brandin Cooks and Nico Collins against Las Vegas.
OCTOBER 23, 2022 • ROTOWIRE
Questionable for Sunday Moore (hip) is listed as questionable for Sunday's contest against Las Vegas.
Impact Moore hurt his hip during a Week 4 loss to the Chargers and missed Week 5 prior to Houston's Week 6 bye. He didn't practice Wednesday this week but promisingly logged full sessions Thursday and Friday, so he's likely leaning on the positive side of questionable. In three contests this season, Moore has totaled eight catches on 12 targets for 108 yards and zero touchdowns.
OCTOBER 22, 2022 • ROTOWIRE
Logs full practice Moore (hip) returned to a full practice Thursday.
Impact Moore picked up a hip injury during Week 4's loss, but is trending in the right direction following Thursday's full practice. As long as he avoids any setbacks, Moore should be able to suit up Sunday against the Raiders. Through his first four games of the season, Moore has caught eight of his twelve targets for 108 yards.
OCTOBER 20, 2022 • ROTOWIRE
Sits out practice Wednesday Moore (hip) didn't practice Wednesday, Aaron Wilson of ProFootballNetwork.com reports.
Impact Moore didn't practice Week 5 before sitting out the Texans' win over Jacksonville, and he remained sidelined for Houston's first official workout following a Week 6 bye. The 29-year-old wideout recorded eight receptions (on 12 targets) for 108 yards over the first four games of the season. Moore will need to increase his activity in practice Thursday or Friday, or else he could be in jeopardy of missing Sunday's contest versus Las Vegas.
OCTOBER 20, 2022 • ROTOWIRE
Out for Week 5 Moore (hip) has been ruled out for Sunday's matchup against the Jaguars.
Impact Moore presumably picked up the hip injury during the team's Week 4 loss to the Chargers and was sidelined for all three practices ahead of Week 5. In his absence, Phillip Dorsett and Tyler Johnson are candidates for increased roles behind Brandin Cooks and Nico Collins.
OCTOBER 7, 2022 • ROTOWIRE
Doesn't practice Wednesday Moore was listed as a non-participant during Wednesday's walkthrough due to a hip issue, Brooks Kubena of the Houston Chronicle reports.
Impact After securing eight of 10 targets for 108 yards through the first three games of the season, Moore failed to record a reception in Week 4 and is now listed with a hip injury that he presumably picked up during the team's loss to the Chargers. The veteran wideout will have two more opportunities to practice before the Texans need to make a decision on his status for Week 5.
OCTOBER 5, 2022 • ROTOWIRE
Leads receivers in yards Moore caught all three of his targets for 63 yards in Sunday's 23-20 loss to the Bears in Week 3.
Impact Houston's wideouts had issues gaining separation against the Bears' press coverage but Moore was able to get open for the team's longest play of the day, a 52-yard grab that set up the Texans' first score. There was competition for snaps as Phillip Dorsett (13 snaps) was active after being held out last week, but Moore remains the clear No. 3 receiver.

Mills throws TD pass, Texas beat 49ers 17-0 to end preseason

Davis Mills threw a touchdown pass to Chris Moore to help the Houston Texans beat the San Francisco 49ers 17-0 on Thursday night in the preseason finale for both teams
AUGUST 26, 2022 • Associated Press
Remaining in Houston Moore signed a one-year, $1.2 million contract with the Texans on Sunday, Aaron Wilson of ProFootballNetwork.com reports.
Impact Moore began the 2021 campaign on the Texans' practice squad and was elevated to the active roster for several games early in the season before landing a permanent roster spot in mid-October. He showed glimpses of potential, including his Week 5 performance against the Patriots in which he hauled in all five of his targets for 109 yards and a touchdown. The 28-year-old will presumably have to compete for a roster spot once again during training camp in 2022.
MARCH 14, 2022 • ROTOWIRE
Scores in finale Moore caught three of three targets for 38 yards and a 28-yard touchdown in Week 18's 28-25 loss to Tennessee.
Impact In the process, Moore scored his second touchdown and first since Week 5. He was normally involved in every game, but played more than 30 percent of the offensive snaps just four times in 12 games. The 28-year-old wide receiver, who finished up the campaign with 21 catches on 22 targets for 227 yards, enters the offseason as an unrestricted free agent.

Can't-Miss Play: Texans dial up their second flea-flicker TD pass of season Houston Texans quarterback Davis Mills completes a 28-yard flea-flicker touchdown pass to wide receiver Chris Moore.

Good to go Sunday Moore (illness) is active for Sunday's game against Tennessee.
Impact The 28-year-old was questionable due to the illness but will play in Houston's season finale. Moore and Danny Amendola should compete for reps as the Texans' No. 3 wideout with Chris Conley (knee) inactive Sunday.
JANUARY 9, 2022 • ROTOWIRE
Questionable Sunday Moore (illness) is questionable for Sunday's game against the Titans.
Impact Moore was a non-participant in Thursday's practice session and was limited Friday. He was unavailable for last week's loss to the 49ers since he was on the reserve/COVID-19 list, but he appears to be trending in the right direction ahead of Week 18.
JANUARY 7, 2022 • ROTOWIRE
Doesn't practice Thursday Moore (illness) didn't participate in Thursday's practice session.
Impact Moore was activated from the reserve/COVID-19 list Wednesday but was unable to take the field Thursday due to an illness. Whether the issue impacts his availability for Sunday's game against the Titans remains to be seen.
JANUARY 6, 2022 • ROTOWIRE
Activated off reserve/COVID-19 list Moore returned from the reserve/COVID-19 list Wednesday.
Impact The wide receiver was placed on the COVID list Dec. 29, missing last week's loss to the 49ers. Moore will return to his role as a depth option on the active roster, a role that has led to 18 catches for 189 yards and a touchdown for him in 2021.
JANUARY 5, 2022 • ROTOWIRE
Moved to COVID-19 list Moore was placed on the reserve/COVID-19 list Wednesday.
Impact Even if he returns in short order, Moore likely will be buried on the depth chart after two other Houston receivers (including Brandin Cooks) were activated from the reserve/COVID-19 list Wednesday.

DECEMBER 26, 2021 • NFL.COM
Activated, no run on offense Moore was active and did not play on offense during Houston's 30-16 win over the Jaguars on Sunday.
Impact Moore, who was a healthy inactive the previous week, returned to active duty but played 21 snaps on special teams only. He took a back seat to Jordan Veasy, a practice squad receiver that played 15 snaps with the offense in his first game action of 2021.
DECEMBER 20, 2021 • ROTOWIRE
Inactive Week 14 Moore was a healthy inactive for Week 14 against Seattle.
Impact Danny Amendola's knee injury seemingly created an opportunity for Moore, but head coach David Culley is looking elsewhere for slot receivers. Davion Davis was the first to play in the slot, but he left after one catch and one play with an ankle injury. After that, it was a combination of Phillip Dorsett and Chris Conley. Moore's status could change Week 15 at Jacksonville, pending Davis' health.
DECEMBER 13, 2021 • ROTOWIRE
Gets no bump without Amendola Moore played 13 of 52 snaps and was not targeted in Sunday's 31-0 loss to the Colts.
Impact Danny Amendola (knee) was inactive Sunday, but that did not translate into an increase of playing time for Moore, who filled in for Amendola earlier this season when the slot receiver was injury. Instead, Moore watched Davion Davis enter the starting lineup in the slot. Davis was targeted twice (no catches) in 20 snaps. With Amendola expected to miss another three weeks at a minimum, there should be opportunities for both Moore and Davis, but Houston's passing attack doesn't offer much hope for fantasy managers.
DECEMBER 6, 2021 • ROTOWIRE
Ready to fill in at slot Moore is the likely replacement at slot receiver for the injured Danny Amendola (knee) on Sunday against the Colts, Brooks Kubena of the Houston Chronicle reports.
Impact Moore, who opened the season on the practice squad, was the primary slot receiver earlier when Amendola missed four games due to a hamstring injury. He was made a permanent resident on the active roster following Week 5, when he impressed with five grabs, 109 yards and a touchdown in a loss to New England. He's been marginalized since Amendola returned, but Moore's in line for an uptick in targets Sunday and beyond. As is Davion Davis, who could make his debut for the Texans after the team signed him in October. Amendola is expected to miss at least four games, per a source.
