Claimed by New England The Patriots claimed Latu off waivers on Monday.

No offensive production in 2025 Latu didn't record an offensive statistic despite logging 104 offensive snaps across 15 regular-season games in 2025.

Impact Latu primarily served as a blocker while operating as Philadelphia's No. 4 tight end, receiving no targets this year. Despite the limited offensive involvement, the Alabama product remained a valuable contributor on special teams, playing 256 snaps and recording 11 total tackles during the regular season. Under contract through the 2026 season, Latu is expected to compete for a larger offensive role this offseason.

Begins week with full practice Latu (neck) was a full practice participant Wednesday.

Impact A neck stinger forced Latu to miss last Saturday's win over the Commanders. However, with a full practice under his belt to begin Week 17 prep, it's likely he'll be able to return to action Sunday versus Buffalo. Latu typically sees most of his work on special teams, and that may not change moving forward with three other healthy tight ends on the roster.

DECEMBER 25, 2025 • ROTOWIRE

Inactive for Week 16 Latu (neck) is inactive for Saturday's game against the Commanders.

Impact Latu was initially listed as questionable for Saturday's divisional matchup, and he'll ultimately have to remain sidelined for at least one game while working to recover from his stinger. The depth tight end has yet to be targeted across 13 regular-season appearances this year, so his absence won't have much of an impact for fantasy purposes.

Questionable to play Saturday Latu (neck) is questionable to play in Saturday's matchup against the Commanders.

Impact Latu practiced in full on Thursday after starting the week as a non-participant in practice. This is an encouraging sign for the 25-year-old, heading into Saturday's Week 16 game. Latu has yet to be targeted this season, playing 225 special teams snaps to 79 on offense (19 in Week 15).

Logs DNP on Wednesday Latu (neck) didn't practice Wednesday.

Impact The Alabama product played a season-high 19 offensive snaps in Sunday's win over the Raiders, but it now appears he sustained a stinger in the process. Latu likely needs to upgrade to limited practice either Thursday or Friday to have a chance at suiting up for the Week 16 matchup against the Commanders on Saturday.

DECEMBER 17, 2025 • ROTOWIRE

Limited usage on offense Monday Latu went without a target while playing five of the Eagles' 71 snaps on offense Monday in a 22-19 overtime loss to the Chargers.

Impact Latu has suited up in each of the Eagles' games since Week 2, but the reserve tight end continues to make most of his contributions on special teams. He's yet to draw a target across 59 snaps on offense this season.

DECEMBER 10, 2025 • ROTOWIRE

Just one snap on offense Sunday Latu went without a target on his lone snap on offense and played 17 snaps on special teams in Sunday's 16-9 win over the Lions.

Impact Latu has been active for every game since Week 2 but remains buried on the depth chart at tight end behind Dallas Goedert, Grant Calcaterra and Kylen Granson. He's yet to play double-digit snaps on offense in any of his nine appearances and has yet to draw a target.

Goes back to practice squad Latu reverted to the Eagles' practice squad Monday, per the NFL's transaction log.

Impact Latu was elevated from the practice squad for Sunday's matchup against the Rams and logged five of the Eagles' 67 offensive snaps without seeing any targets or touches. Impact Latu will be elevated for the second straight week, although he likely won't see much playing time on offense as Dallas Goedert (knee) is set to return from his one-game absence. Latu could also see playing time on special teams and will be eligible to be elevated just two more times this season following Sunday's matchup.
