Eclipses century mark in loss Sims brought in seven of 13 targets for 104 yards in Washington's 31-23 wild-card loss to the Buccaneers on Saturday night.

Impact Sims recorded a team-high 36-yard reception on his way to leading Washington in catches, receiving yards and targets. The third-year wideout eclipsed the century mark only once during the regular season, a 110-yard effort against the Giants in Week 9. After recording just two receptions for 27 yards in his first two seasons, Sims had a breakout of sorts in 2020 with a 32-477-1 line across 16 games. He'll now head into the offseason with some momentum following Saturday night's stellar showing and will look to make an even bigger impact in 2021.

Catches five passes in win Sims caught each of his five targets for 43 yards in Sunday's 20-14 win over the Eagles.

Impact Sims played every single snap on offense for a second straight week, making his 10th consecutive start to close out the season. He averaged 62.3 snaps but only 4.5 targets in those 10 starts, catching 29 of 45 passes for 438 yards. While he should keep his starting job for the playoffs, Sims figures to face competition in the offseason.

Impact With Terry McLaurin (ankle) inactive, Sims led Washington wideouts in targets, though TE Logan Thomas (12) and RB J.D. McKissic (10) both saw more. Apart from his 50-yard gain on a Dwayne Haskins scramble drill in the third quarter, Sims mostly had a tough go of it, producing just 19 yards on his other eight targets. He nearly made a diving catch for a 43-yard touchdown late in the fourth quarter, but the ball bounced out of his hands. This was the third time in four weeks Sims has drawn eight or more targets, so he could rebound against the slumping Eagles defense Week 17, especially if McLaurin is out again and/or QB Alex Smith (ankle) is able to return.

Meager yardage in defeat Sims brought in five of eight targets for 26 yards in Washington's 20-15 loss to the Seahawks on Sunday.

Impact Sims was unable to break free for any big gains, with his longest catch of the afternoon going for just 10 yards. The 24-year-old speedster has flashed in a couple of games this season with 92- and 110-yard efforts, but he's also been under 30 receiving yards in four of the last five contests alone, including a complete blanking over 55 snaps Week 10 against the Cowboys. Sims will continue as a boom-or-bust option in a Week 16 matchup against the Panthers.

Impact Sims played 94 percent of snaps on offense, and he took his first carry of the season for a five-yard gain. It isn't clear if Sims will catch passes from Alex Smith (calf) or Dwayne Haskins in Week 15 against Seattle.

Impact Sims bounced back nicely in Week 13 after being held to no receptions the week prior. He had one of his most productive outings of the season as he now has 18 receptions for 337 yards and a touchdown on the year. He'll enter Sunday's game against the 49ers as Washington's No. 2 wideout.

The Alabama product had generated three consecutive multi-catch performances entering Thursday's matchup, including a three-catch, 110-yard receiving day Week 9 against the Giants. Sims garnered an ample workload of 55 offensive snaps, but Terry McLaurin (92 yards) was the only Washington player to eclipse 25 receiving yards in the contest.

Impact Sims got the start and played 84 percent of offensive snaps, but he was targeted only twice on Alex Smith's 25 pass attempts. The 6-foot-5 wideout continues to be highly efficient with his limited opportunities, averaging 2.5 catches for 51.5 yards on 3.0 targets per game since he became a starter in Week 11. Inman was a limited practice participant Thursday and Friday, so he could be back as soon as Week 11 against the Bengals.

Impact Though Washington returned Steven Sims from injured reserve ahead of last week's loss to the Giants, Cam still retained a starting role while Inman was sidelined. With Steven on a limited snap count in Week 9, Cam essentially served as Washington's No. 2 wideout behind Terry McLaurin, finishing with three receptions for 110 yards on four targets. That sort of yards-per-target production likely won't be sustainable, however, especially if new starting quarterback Alex Smith opts to make the short- or intermediate-range passing game more of a priority as he steps in for the injured Kyle Allen (ankle).
