Impact A third-round pick of the Commanders in 2022, Robinson spent the first three seasons of his career in Washington, ranging between 733 and 799 rushing yards in each campaign. He then was dealt to the 49ers in late August and served as Christian McCaffrey's top backup to the tune of 100 touches for 425 yards from scrimmage and two rushing TDs. Considering he'll be working behind another workhorse back in Bijan Robinson in Atlanta, Brian Robinson likely will take on a similar workload in his new locale.

Impact Robinson was able to get involved in the offensive game plan in the divisional round after garnering no touches across seven offensive snaps (12 percent) in San Francisco's wild-card round win over the Eagles. The power back was traded to the 49ers this past offseason and offered a true change of pace to Christian McCaffrey's electric running style. Robinson finished the regular season with a 92-400-2 rushing line while appearing in 17 contests behind CMC. The 26-year-old Robinson will become an unrestricted free agent this upcoming offseason and should have no problems finding work after averaging 4.1 YPC across four seasons as a pro.

Just two carries in loss to SEA Robinson rushed two times for nine yards and was not targeted as a receiver in Saturday's 13-3 loss to Seattle.

Impact Robinson was only on the field for six offensive snaps (his lowest total since Week 8) with his club playing catch-up all evening. The veteran backup appears to get extra touches in contests that San Francisco plays with a lead in, otherwise it has been the Christian McCaffrey Show in 2025. Robinson appeared in all 17 regular-season contests in his first year with the 49ers, compiling 400 rushing yards and two touchdowns in a change-of-pace role. The 26-year-old will continue spelling CMC in the wild-card round of the playoffs.

Garners five touches Sunday Robinson took four carries for 22 yards and grabbed his only target for six yards in Sunday's 42-38 win over Chicago.

Impact Robinson was on the field for 11 snaps on offense (15 percent) while handling five touches for the second week running. The veteran backup continues to be lost in the shadow of starter Christian McCaffrey (23-140-1), who has a stranglehold on the 49ers' lead back role. Robinson won't provide much in terms of fantasy value while spelling CMC against the Seahawks in Saturday's regular-season finale.
