Impact With back-to-back limited practices under his belt, Hall presumably will need to practice fully Friday in order to avoid a Week 5 injury designation. That said, so far there's been nothing to suggest that the rookie running back will miss Sunday's game against the Dolphins as he deals with what coach Robert Saleh described as "nicks and bruises" coming out of Week 4 action, per Ethan B. Greenberg of the Jets' official site.

Dealing with minor knee injury Hall was limited in Wednesday's practice due to a knee injury, Rich Cimini of ESPN.com reports.

Impact Coach Robert Saleh included Hall and QB Zach Wilson (ankle) in the group of players dealing with "nicks and bruises" ahead of a home game against Miami this Sunday. The rookie RB more than doubled his previous high with 17 carries in a Week 4 win over Pittsburgh, with his snap share (66 percent) and rushing yardage (66) also easily new personal bests. Michael Carter still has a role, but Hall looks like the better Week 5 fantasy play -- assuming the knee injury isn't a major factor -- in light of his increased usage at Carter's expense last week.

Impact In the Jets' 24-20 win over the Steelers on Sunday, Hall saw action on 46 snaps on offense en route to recording 17 carries for 66 yards and a TD to go along with two catches of six targets for 12 yards. Though the running back's looming inclusion on the team's Week 5 injury report makes his status for this weekend's game against the Dolphins worth monitoring, at this stage it doesn't appear as though Hall's availability for the contest is in danger.

Impact Hall was far more effective on the ground than Michael Carter, who mustered just 15 rushing yards on nine attempts. The rookie scored the game-winning touchdown in the final minute from two yards out. Hall was originally ruled short, but replays confirmed that he extended the ball across the plane of the goal line for his first career rushing touchdown. The Jets will continue to feed both running backs, but Hall's starting to separate himself as the team's top option on the ground heading into a Week 5 clash with the Dolphins.
