Signing with Dolphins
The Dolphins are slated to sign Berrios to a one-year deal, Adam Schefter of ESPN reports.
Impact
The 27-year-old will provide the Dolphins with added wide receiver depth behind top options Tyreek Hill and Jaylen Waddle, as well as give the team a capable option in the return game. In 17 games for the Jets in 2022, Berrios logged a modest 18-145-0 receiving line while adding two rushing touchdowns, but if he's able to secure steady snaps out of the slot with Miami, the 5-foot-9, 190-pounder could see an uptick in production this coming season.

Two rushing TDs in 2022
Berrios wasn't targeted in Sunday's season finale against the Dolphins.
Impact
Berrios took a major step back as a receiver in 2022 after totaling 825 yards and five touchdowns over the previous two seasons. He finished the campaign with just 18 catches for 145 yards on 32 targets, though he was able to find the end zone twice as a rusher while gathering 91 total yards on the ground. He also threw a two-yard touchdown pass and contributed 840 yards as a return man. The 27-year-old receiver has one more year left on his contract with the Jets and should reprise his role as a return man and part-time player on offense in 2023.

One catch in Week 17
Berrios caught his only target for 24 yards in Sunday's 23-6 loss to the Seahawks.
Impact
Berrios added a pair of kickoff returns for 51 yards and two punt returns for eight yards. He has caught multiple passes in only three games this season after notching at least five receptions five times in 2021.

Not targeted Week 16
Berrios wasn't targeted in Thursday's 19-3 loss to the Jaguars.
Impact
Berrios is usually used on gadget plays, and the Jets didn't have the luxury of getting fancy when Zach Wilson couldn't even hit the simple stuff. As a result, Berrios' Week 16 contributions were limited to three kick returns for 80 yards.

Catches one of six targets
Berrios caught one of six targets for 14 yards in Sunday's 20-17 loss to the Lions.
Impact
Zach Wilson tried to find Berrios deep downfield on a few occasions, but the quarterback and receiver couldn't get on the same page. Berrios' six targets tied his Week 1 season high, and he has yet to match his five catches or 37 receiving yards from the season opener.

One catch in Week 14
Berrios caught one of three targets for 25 yards in Sunday's 20-12 loss to the Bills.
Impact
After failing to come down with what would have been the winning touchdown in the previous game, Berrios made a nice catch over his shoulder in this one, albeit in a far less important situation. He also returned two kickoffs for 23 yards and four punts for 88 yards in addition to diving out of the way of a punt that missed hitting him by a hair.

Drops game-winning TD
Berrios caught two of three targets for nine yards in Sunday's 27-22 loss to the Vikings.
Impact
Berrios will be remembered for the ball he didn't catch in this one. On fourth down from Minnesota's one-yard line with less than two minutes to play, Mike White fit the ball into a tight window to a sliding Berrios in the end zone, but the wide receiver failed to secure the catch, allowing the would-be winning touchdown to hit the ground. Berrios is a nice gadget player, but the costly drop showed why the Jets are loath to deploy him as a consistent part of the offense.

Three touches on offense in win
Berrios caught his only target for four yards and rushed twice for nine yards in Sunday's 31-10 win over the Bears.
Impact
Berrios played a limited role on offense as usual. He added 38 yards on a pair of punt returns and did well to handle the ball cleanly in wet conditions. Up next for the Berrios and the Jets is a Week 13 trip to Minnesota.
