Scores TD in win
Snell rushed six times for 17 yards and a TD while also catching his lone target for four yards in Sunday's 38-7 win over the Browns.
Impact
Snell's workload has been limited with James Conner fully healthy in recent weeks, but his role has been somewhat consistent as he's touched the ball seven times in each of the Steelers' last three contests. The 22-year-old scored the team's final touchdown in Sunday's blowout win, his first of the season. Snell has seen more work than rookie Anthony McFarland to begin the campaign, but his playing time has been limited while Conner has been on the field.

Logs seven carries
Snell ran for 19 yards on seven carries in Sunday's 38-29 win over Philadelphia.
Impact
Snell once again struggled to garner much work in Week 5 and was unable to score on a goal-line carry in the first quarter. Although the 2019 fourth-rounder saw slightly more work (seven carries) than Anthony McFarland (three carries), both running backs have limited fantasy potential as long as starter James Conner remains healthy. Over the past three weeks, Snell has recorded just 35 rushing yards.

Struggles in win
Snell totaled 11 yards on seven carries in the Steelers' 28-21 Week 3 win over the Texans Sunday.
Impact
Snell and rookie Anthony McFarland split carries in a backup role to James Conner, but Snell was unable to get anything going on the ground. His longest run was four yards and he was stuffed on a first-and-goal from the one-yard line. Despite an attractive Week 4 matchup against the Titans -- who have allowed 598 rushing yards and three touchdown runs in three games this season -- Snell's fantasy value continues to drop.

One yard from scrimmage Sunday
Snell ran three times for five yards and lost a fumble in Pittsburgh's 26-21 win over Denver on Sunday.
Impact
Coming off his 113-yard effort in relief of James Conner (ankle) last week, it was thought that Snell might split carries against the Broncos. Instead, he saw just four touches, including a four-yard loss on his only reception of the game. His fumble in the fourth quarter made the game interesting but the Steelers held on to go 2-0 for the first time since 2016. With Conner healthy, Snell will likely take a backseat in Week 3 against the Texans.

Could cut into Conner's snaps
Snell could be in store for more use out of the Pittsburgh backfield even after James Conner fully recovers from his left ankle sprain, Ed Bouchette of The Athletic reports.
Impact
After Conner went down with the injury in the first half of Monday's win over the Giants, Snell stepped in as the Steelers' top back and turned in an eye-opening performance. He finished with 113 yards on 19 carries, though he wasn't a factor in the passing game with one target across 29 offensive snaps. The lack of involvement as a pass catcher has been the norm for Snell since his college days, so he would more realistically represent a threat to poach carries from Conner when the latter is back to full strength. Conner sat out Wednesday's practice with the injury and is far from certain to gain clearance for this weekend's matchup with Denver, potentially leaving Snell with a clear path to the majority of the backfield carries for at least one game.

Takes advantage of opportunity
Snell finished with 19 rushes for a career-high 113 yards in Monday night's 26-16 win over the Giants.
Impact
Snell was thrust into a larger role after starting tailback James Conner exited with an ankle injury during the second quarter. With Conner staying sidelined for the remainder of Monday's game, Snell ran with purpose and was rewarded with the second-most single-game carries of his young career. Although he was lucky to not lose a fumble in the third quarter, the 2019 fourth-rounder flashed his upside should Conner's availability be impacted going forward. That situation figures to be rather worthwhile to monitor in the coming week, but Snell's stock is nonetheless on the rise in advance of Week 2's home date with the Broncos.

Could get Week 1 touches
Snell is making a strong case for a role in the Pittsburgh offense, Mark Kaboly of The Athletic reports.
Impact
The Steelers have a track record of drafting big running backs and then having them drop weight before their second pro seasons. Snell followed the pattern, reportedly losing 12 pounds this offseason, and it sounds like it's paying off in terms of quickness and agility. James Conner is still locked in as the starter and figures to see more of the receiving work, but Snell could carve out his own role subbing in for some carries. The second-year pro is apparently shining in training camp, while Jaylen Samuels is on the roster bubble and Anthony McFarland is in the concussion protocol.
