Could return next week Head coach Doug Pederson relayed Monday that Armstead (knee) could return from the active/PUP list sometime next week, Michael DiRocco of ESPN.com reports. Impact Armstead is in the final stages of his recovery from offseason surgery to repair a torn meniscus in his right knee. Should he return to practice next week, he'll likely be held out of the Jaguars' preseason finale against the Falcons and aim to be up to game speed for Week 1 against the Dolphins on Sept. 8. Armstead signed a three-year, $51 million contract with Jacksonville in March after spending the first nine years of his career with San Francisco. The 30-year-old Armstead is set to be an integral piece to the Jaguars' defensive front alongside Josh Hines-Allen, DaVon Hamilton and Travon Walker.
