Clears concussion protocol Winfield has cleared concussion protocol and will be available Sunday against the Bears, Greg Auman of The Athletic reports.
Impact Winfield has missed the last two games while in concussion protocol, but he will be ready to return to action in Week 7. The second-year safety accumulated 25 tackles, two pass deflections, one forced fumble and one interception across the first four games before suffering the concussion. His presence will be a boost to a secondary that is still without Sean Murphy-Bunting (elbow) and Carlton Davis (quadriceps).
