Demoted Sunday Thomas will not start at left tackle for Sunday's game against Washington, Jordan Raanan of ESPN.com reports.

Impact The reason for the demotion remains unclear, however, Raanan reported that Matt Peart is expected to take Thomas' place. With the rookie out of Georgia heading to the bench, it's unclear if this is a long-term change or temporary.
