Scores late TD in loss Cooper brought in five of nine targets for 43 yards and a touchdown and added a 10-yard rush on one attempt in the Cowboys' 34-17 loss to the Ravens on Tuesday night.

Impact Cooper was on his way to a forgettable fantasy night before making an acrobatic two-yard catch in the back of the end zone on fourth down for Dallas' final score of the night. The sixth-year pro has enjoyed a strong connection with Andy Dalton and had been coming on with a 17-260-1 line over the prior three contests to Tuesday's game. His numbers against Baltimore therefore represented a slight downturn from his per-game averages during that span, but Cooper should once again be the subject of plenty of attention from Dalton in the latter's return to Cincinnati to face the Bengals in Week 14.

Impact Andy Dalton did an excellent job spreading the ball around, as nine different Cowboys hauled in at least one catch, but it was Cooper who led the team in receptions, targets and yards. Despite the turmoil in the offense since Dak Prescott (ankle) got hurt, Cooper's still on pace for career highs in catches and targets, as well as the fourth 1,000-yard campaign of his career. He'll look to keep rolling in a Thanksgiving clash with Washington.

Impact After an abysmal performance last week with Ben DiNucci under center, Cooper and the entire Dallas offense showed a little more life in this one with Garrett Gilbert at quarterback, although the end result was still the same. Cooper has recorded at least 75 scrimmage yards in seven of nine games this year, and he should remain one of the top options in the passing game coming out of the team's Week 10 bye, regardless of whether Gilbert or Andy Dalton (concussion) is at the helm.

Impact Someone should have told Cooper -- and the Cowboys' coaching staff -- that Halloween was Saturday, because his impersonation of a ghost was more "trick" than "treat" for those counting on the star wideout for significant production. The 26-year-old almost went the entire contest without receiving a target from third-string quarterback Ben DiNucci until he finally caught a pass for five yards in a garbage-time comeback attempt in the fourth quarter. The good news for Cooper's fantasy managers is that Andy Dalton (concussion) has a good chance to return next week (the duo averaged 7.0 completions, 79.5 yards and 0.5 touchdowns across two contests). The bad news is that a tough matchup against the Steelers looms in Week 9. If DiNucci is forced to start again, managers may have to explore other options in place of the former must-start receiver.
