Explosive in return from injury
Brown corralled seven of nine targets for 82 receiving yards and a touchdown during Tuesday's 42-16 win against the Bills.
Impact
With Tennessee fielding a depleted receiving corps because of Corey Davis and Adam Humphries being on the reserve COVID-19 List, Brown stepped right back into a lead role. After sitting out the Titans' second and third games of the year with a knee injury, Davis attracted two more targets than any other Tennessee player Tuesday night, doubling No. 2 pass catcher Jonnu Smith's 40 receiving yards in the process. Davis and Humphries may be back in time for the Titans' Week 6 matchup against Houston's top-10 pass defense, but Brown has, at least, re-established a rapport with Ryan Tannehill.

Returning from two-game absence
Brown (knee) is listed as active Tuesday versus the Bills, Jim Wyatt of the Titans' official site reports.
Impact
Brown opened the season by suffering a bone bruise in his knee Week 1, missing the Titans' next two games. Then, COVID-19 hit the team and forced the NFL to reschedule its Week 4 showdown against the Steelers to Week 7. The extra time afforded Brown may have helped him get back to full health, and he'll reenter a receiving corps without Corey Davis and Adam Humphries, both of whom are on the reserve/COVID-19 list. As a result, Brown may hit the ground running against a Buffalo defense that has allowed 165.5 yards receiving per game to WR this season.

Set to play Tuesday
Brown (knee), who is listed as questionable for Tuesday's game against the Bills, will be available to play, Paul Kuharsky of 104.5 The Zone Nashville reports.
Impact
Brown's status will be officially clarified when the Titans release their inactive list approximately 90 minutes prior to Tuesday's 7 p.m. ET kickoff, but the wideout looks like he'll be ready to make his first appearance since the Titans' season opener. Despite getting in only one full practice since going down with the bone bruise in his knee, Brown should take on as many snaps and targets as he can handle Week 5 while fellow starting wideouts Corey Davis and Adam Humphries are on the reserve/COVID-19 list.

Full practice Saturday
Brown (knee) is listed as questionable for Tuesday's game against the Bills, John Glennon of The Athletic reports.
Impact
The Titans were finally able to log a formal practice Saturday and with it saw Brown participate fully. The questionable designation might simply be a cautionary measure by the team, but it certainly seems like a bit of positive news with Corey Davis and Adam Humphries both unlikely to move off the COVID-19 list before Tuesday's game. Kalif Raymond and Nick Westbrook-Ikhine will likely be the No. 2 and 3 receivers if Brown were to be active Tuesday.

Limited again on estimated report
The Titans list Brown (knee) as a limited participant on Friday's estimated practice report, Chris Brown of the Bills' official site reports.
Impact
The Titans still aren't holding formal practices in the wake of the team's COVID-19 outbreak, making it difficult to gauge how Brown is progressing from the bone bruise in his knee that sidelined him for the team's past two games. Assuming that no more positive COVID-19 tests emerge among Titans players and staff over the next few days, the team will return to action Tuesday versus the Bills. The team will release its final injury report of Week 5 on Saturday, and if the Titans continue to list Brown as a limited participant, he'll likely take a questionable designation into the matchup with the Bills.

Estimated as limited participant
Brown (knee) was once again listed as limited on Thursday's practice estimation, Turron Davenport of ESPN.com reports.
Impact
Once again, the team didn't practice, but Brown's projected practice level suggests that he's nearing the point that he can resume game action. That said, Tennessee's contest against the Bills on Sunday is no lock to occur as scheduled, given that multiple members of the Titans' organization have tested positive for COVID-19.

Limited on practice estimate
Brown (knee) was listed as a limited participant on Wednesday's estimated practice report, Jim Wyatt of the Titans' official site reports.
Impact
With Corey Davis and Adam Humphries on the Titans' reserve/COVID-19 list, Kalif Raymond and Nick Westbrook-Ikhine are the other wide receivers on the team's active roster in addition to Brown, who last suited up Week 1. The Titans, whose Week 4 game against the Steelers was postponed, are currently scheduled to face the Bills on Sunday at 1 p.m. ET.

May return to practice Wednesday
Coach Mike Vrabel said there's "a chance" Brown (knee) is cleared to practice Wednesday if the Titans hold a session, John Glennon of The Athletic reports.
Impact
The Titans haven't been cleared to reenter their facilities due to COVID-19 protocols and a number of positive tests among players and staff. Brown himself hasn't suited up since Week 1, the result of a bone bruise in his knee. Whenever Tennessee is able to practice next, we'll have a better sense of his potential to return to action, which may come as soon as Wednesday.

On track for Week 5
Brown (knee) is expected to be ready to play in the Titans' next game Week 5 versus the Bills on Oct. 11, Ian Rapoport of NFL Network reports.
Impact
Rapoport notes that Brown -- who had missed the last two games with a bone bruise in his knee -- had a shot at being ready to play this weekend versus the Steelers, but that became a moot point after the NFL postponed the Tennessee-Pittsburgh game to a later date following a COVID-19 outbreak among Titans players and staff. As a result, Tennessee will essentially have a bye Week 4, giving Brown more time to move past the injury. Assuming he's ready to get back on the field if the NFL allows the Titans to resume practicing next week, Brown should immediately step back into a starting role at receiver alongside Corey Davis and Adam Humphries.

Could be out beyond Week 3
Brown, who is listed as out for Sunday's game against the Vikings, continues to nurse a "pretty significant" bone bruise in his knee and hasn't responded as well or as quickly to t...
Impact
The injury will keep Brown sidelined for a second straight game Week 3, and given his slow recovery process to date, the wideout looks to be at real risk of missing additional time. Titans quarterback Ryan Tannehill wasn't too troubled without Brown available in the Week 2 win over the Jaguars (18-for-24 for 239 yards and four touchdowns), with Corey Davis, Adam Humphries and Jonnu Smith taking on most of the targets for Tennessee. Tannehill may find similar success sans Brown in a Week 3 matchup with a vulnerable Vikings pass defense, but the 23-year-old's potential absence could loom larger in the near future with a couple tough home games on tap in Week 4 (Steelers) and Week 5 (Bills). The Titans should provide an update on Brown's condition again Wednesday, when the team begins Week 4 prep.
