Ends Week 1 with two catches Trautman gathered in 2 of 3 targets for 10 yards during Monday's 31-10 loss to the Chiefs.
Impact Evan Engram logged 32 offensive snaps versus Kansas City, though Trautman wasn't too far behind him by registering 19. He also saw action on special teams (two snaps). However, it wasn't a productive evening overall for Trautman, who finished the 2025 campaign with 20 receptions (23 targets) for 195 yards and one touchdown. The 29-year-old isn't expected to contribute much moving forward, especially while Engram is healthy.

Signs new three-year deal The Broncos re-signed Trautman to a three-year, $17 million contract Sunday, Mike Klis of 9News Denver reports.
Impact A favorite of coach Sean Payton, Trautman has spent time with the head coach in New Orleans and Denver and logged 57 percent of the offensive snaps across 17 regular-season games last season. Trautman doesn't do much on the stat sheet but is a trusted blocker. He secured 20 of 23 targets for 195 yards and one touchdown during the 2025 campaign.

Limited production in sixth season Trautman finished the 2025 season with 20 receptions on 23 targets for 195 yards and one touchdown across 17 games.
Impact Trautman continued his typical role as a blocking specialist this season, failing to reach 200 receiving yards for the second straight season. In his third-year with Denver, the veteran played the most offensive snaps of any Broncos tight end this season despite not being utilized much as a pass catcher. Meanwhile, teammate Evan Engram handled the majority of pass-catching duties in Denver's offense. Trautman will enter the offseason as an unrestricted free agent, and his blocking acumen will likely help him garner interest from teams around the league. Considering his experience in Sean Payton's system, it wouldn't be surprising to see him back with the Broncos on a new deal next season, yet he'll continue to have little appeal for fantasy purposes.

Targeted twice against Kansas City Trautman caught both of his targets for 24 yards in Thursday's 20-13 win over the Chiefs.
Impact Trautman played 52 of the Broncos' 72 offensive snaps Thursday, once again playing the most snaps at tight end. Teammates Evan Engram and Marcedes Lewis played 22 and 15 snaps, respectively. Engram paced the position group in targets (4) as Denver's preferred pass-catching tight end. Meanwhile the 28-year-old Trautman continued to operate as a blocking specialist. The veteran's limited opportunities keep him far off the fantasy radar each week. Next up for the Broncos is a Week 18 matchup against the Chargers.

Two grabs in loss Trautman caught two of three targets for 14 yards in Sunday's 34-20 loss to the Jaguars.
Impact Trautman played 58 percent of snaps Sunday, continuing to handle the highest offensive snap share among Broncos' tight ends. The veteran was unable to turn his opportunities into much significant production, as he continues to take a backseat to teammate Evan Engram as a pass catcher. Trautman's blocking acumen keep him on the field, but he remains far off the fantasy radar going forward. Next up for the Broncos is a Week 17 matchup against the Chiefs.
DECEMBER 22, 2025 • ROTOWIRE
No targets in Week 16 Trautman went without a target while playing 42 of the Broncos' 68 snaps on offense in Sunday's 34-26 win over the Packers.
Impact Trautman's 62 percent snap share led the way among Broncos tight ends, but Evan Engram was the only member of the position group to draw a target from quarterback Bo Nix on the day. Trautman has produced a 16-157-1 receiving line on 18 targets through 14 games this season but offers most of his impact as a blocker rather than a pass catcher.
