Headed to IR
The Cardinals placed Brewer (pectoral) on injured reserve Monday, Darren Urban of the team's official site reports.
Impact
Brewer is dealing with a pectoral injury that will now bring his 2022 campaign to an early end, as he'll now have to sit out the final two weeks of the regular season on IR. In his stead, it's likely Arizona will turn to Sean Harlow, who previously filled in when Brewer was on IR with a broken arm, to handle the team's long-snapping duties moving forward.

Dealing with pectoral injury
Coach Kliff Kingsbury said Monday that Brewer was dealing with an injury to his right pectoral after Sunday's game at Tampa Bay, Josh Weinfuss of ESPN.com reports.
Impact
Brewer presumably sustained the injury in Sunday's loss versus Tampa Bay, and his status for Week 17 is now in jeopardy. Any time he potentially misses would mean Arizona would have to make do with less depth on the interior of its offensive line.

Likely to miss time
Brewer (hand) will likely miss a couple of weeks, according to Kliff Kingsbury, Josh Weinfuss of ESPN.com reports.
Impact
Brewer left Sunday's game against the 49ers early after having his hand looked at on the sideline. Sean Harlow filled in for Brewer in the long snapper role in his absence, and he'll likely continue to do so as long as Brewer is out.
