Impact Lendeborg finished the preseason logging 17 points in back-to-back games and was tied with Brandin Podziemski as the Warriors' second-leading scorer Friday behind Stephen Curry (20 points). Lendeborg was the Warriors' 11th-overall pick of the 2026 NBA Draft and will likely have a sizable role for at least the first couple of months of his rookie season while Jimmy Butler (knee) is sidelined.

Impact Lendeborg briefly exited after tweaking his ankle but was able to return to the contest, an encouraging sign regarding the severity of the issue. The rookie forward delivered a well-rounded performance despite the injury scare, contributing across multiple categories while committing just one turnover.

Penciled in as starter Head coach Steve Kerr plans to start Lendeborg to begin the season, per Dalton Johnson of NBC Sports Bay Area.
Impact Both Jimmy Butler (knee) and Moses Moody (knee) are expected to be on the shelf for an extended period to open 2026-27, and Lendeborg is primed to help pick up the slack to start the year. The rookie first-rounder will be looking to make a case to remain a full-time starter and carries plenty of upside in the later rounds of fantasy drafts.

Double-doubles with six assists Lendeborg produced 23 points (10-14 FG, 1-3 3Pt, 2-2 FT), 10 rebounds, six assists, two steals and one block over 24 minutes in Saturday's 111-106 preseason win over the Kings.
Impact After a lackluster preseason debut, Lendeborg has caught fire over the past two, scoring efficiently while bringing a little bit of everything to the box score. He should start for the Warriors right away and makes for an intriguing late-round target on draft day.

Starting vs. Sacramento Lendeborg (rest) is in the Warriors' starting lineup against the Kings on Saturday, Danny Emerman of SFStandard.com reports.
Impact Lendeborg was rested for Wednesday's preseason game against the Trail Blazers, but the rookie first-rounder will be in the Warriors' starting five for Saturday's contest. The Michigan product is attempting to carve out a consistent role for himself for the 2026-27 season, and he has a path to do so seeing as both Jimmy Butler (knee) and Moses Moody (knee) are expected to be sidelined for a sizable chunk of the upcoming campaign.
