INJURIES

Starting Sunday McConnell is starting Sunday versus the Bucks, Dustin Dopirak of The Indianapolis Star reports.
Impact This will be just the second start of the season for McConnell and it'll be Aaron Nesmith, Jarace Walker, Jalen Slawson and Ivica Zubac joining him in the first unit. In McConnell's previous start this season, he finished with nine points (4-8 FG, 1-2 3Pt), two rebounds, two assists, one steal and two turnovers in 15 minutes.
MARCH 15 • ROTOWIRE
Good to go vs. Milwaukee McConnell (hamstring) is available for Sunday's game against the Bucks, Tony East of Forbes.com reports.
Impact McConnell has been a mainstay on the Pacers' injury report since mid-February due to right hamstring soreness. He's been cleared to play Sunday, and while he's averaging 16.9 minutes per game this season, McConnell could see an uptick in playing time due to the absences of Andrew Nembhard (calf), Quenton Jackson (calf) and Ben Sheppard (ankle).
MARCH 15 • ROTOWIRE
Questionable to play Sunday McConnell is questionable for Sunday's game against the Bucks due to right hamstring soreness.
Impact McConnell returned from a two-game absence due to a right hamstring injury to score 10 points and deliver six assists across 20 minutes in a loss to the Knicks on Friday. However, it seems he's still not 100 percent ready to return to action, and a decision on his status will be made closer to Sunday's 3:30 p.m. ET tipoff. McConnell is averaging 8.1 points, 2.1 rebounds and 4.4 assists per game while starting in just one of his eight appearances since the All-Star break.
MARCH 14 • ROTOWIRE
Dishes six dimes in return McConnell finished Friday's 101-92 loss to the Knicks with 10 points (5-9 FG), six assists and three rebounds over 20 minutes.
Impact The Pacers offense struggled during Friday's contest, though McConnell gave his team a spark off the bench, finishing as Indiana's fourth-leading scorer and second in assists behind Andrew Nembhard (seven). It was encouraging to see McConnell log 20 minutes off the bench after the veteran point guard missed the Pacers' last two games due to a right hamstring injury. It's an injury that he's managed since early February and could limit his playing time, especially in back-to-back sets.
MARCH 14 • ROTOWIRE
Will play Friday McConnell (hamstring) is good to go for Friday's game versus the Knicks, Jared Schwartz of the New York Post reports.
Impact McConnell is back after a two-game absence, which will likely translate to fewer minutes for Ben Sheppard and Kam Jones. McConnell is averaging 9.3 points, 4.7 assists and 1.1 steals per game this season.
MARCH 13 • ROTOWIRE
Expected to play McConnell (hamstring) is probable to play Friday against the Knicks.
Impact McConnell is expected back in the rotation after sitting the front leg of this back-to-back set. The veteran continues to be a modest source of assists and steals in category formats.

Indiana enters a matchup with New York after losing seven straight home games
MARCH 13 • Associated Press
Won't go Thursday McConnell (hamstring) is out for Thursday's game against the Suns, Tony East of Forbes.com reports.
Impact McConnell suffered a hamstring injury during Sunday's game against Portland, and he's now in line to miss a second straight game. Expect Kam Jones and Ben Sheppard to see extended minutes in the backcourt with Aaron Nesmith (ankle) and Quenton Jackson (calf) also out.
MARCH 12 • ROTOWIRE
Questionable for Thursday McConnell is questionable to play Thursday against the Suns.
Impact McConnell missed Tuesday's loss to the Kings after tweaking his hamstring during Sunday's loss to the Trail Blazers, and with Thursday's game being the first of a back-to-back set, it wouldn't be shocking to see the veteran spend at least one more game on the sidelines. Check back for another update on McConnell closer to Thursday's tip.

Indiana faces Phoenix on home losing streak

Indiana heads into a matchup with Phoenix as losers of six straight home games
MARCH 11 • Associated Press
Ruled out for Tuesday McConnell (hamstring) has been ruled out for Tuesday's game against the Kings.
Impact The veteran point guard exited Sunday's loss to Portland in the fourth quarter due to right hamstring soreness and will miss Tuesday's contest with the same issue. His next opportunity to play will come Thursday against Phoenix. With McConnell out and Andrew Nembhard (neck/back) doubtful to play, Kam Jones, Quenton Jackson and Ben Sheppard are all in line to see increased playing time.

MARCH 9 • Associated Press
Won't return Sunday McConnell will not return to Sunday's game against the Trail Blazers due to right hamstring soreness.
Impact McConnell exited partway through the fourth quarter of Sunday's contest and will not be able to return due to a sore right hamstring. It should be mentioned that McConnell has been dealing with a right hamstring issue for some time now, most recently missing a game on Feb. 22. If he is forced to miss time, Kam Jones and Quenton Jackson could see increased minutes.
MARCH 9 • ROTOWIRE
Stuck in limited role McConnell registered six points (3-6 FG), three rebounds and five assists over 16 minutes during Wednesday's 130-107 loss to the Clippers.
Impact The veteran floor general continues to produce respectable numbers on a per-minute basis, but the Pacers continue to hold back his workload. McConnell has averaged 8.8 points, 4.8 assists and 1.9 rebounds in 15.4 minutes per tilt in his last eight games, shooting 58.9 percent from the floor.
MARCH 5 • ROTOWIRE
Modest production continues McConnell ended with seven points (3-7 FG, 1-2 FT), two rebounds, three assists and one steal over 15 minutes during Tuesday's 135-114 loss to Philadelphia.
Impact McConnell continues to play limited minutes off the bench, having not played more than 20 minutes since Jan 14. Not only is his playing time down, but his availability has been spotty, at best, making him nothing more than a streaming consideration for anyone needing assists and steals.
FEBRUARY 25 • ROTOWIRE
Good to go Tuesday McConnell (hamstring) will play in Tuesday's game against the 76ers, per Tony East of Forbes.com.
Impact After missing Sunday's loss to Dallas with a right hamstring injury, McConnell is ready to return to the floor Tuesday. Over his last 11 outings, the veteran floor general has averaged 8.6 points, 3.8 assists, 1.9 rebounds and 1.0 steals in 15.8 minutes per tilt.
FEBRUARY 24 • ROTOWIRE
Questionable for Tuesday McConnell (hamstring) is questionable for Tuesday's game against the 76ers.
Impact McConnell is managing a nagging right hamstring injury that sidelined him Sunday and has kept him out of three of the past four contests. If the veteran guard -- who has operated almost exclusively off the bench this season -- is unable to suit up Tuesday, Quenton Jackson and Ben Sheppard could see increased opportunities.

Not playing Sunday McConnell (hamstring) has been ruled out for Sunday's game against the Mavericks, Tony East of Forbes.com reports.
Impact McConnell was able to play through a right hamstring issue against the Wizards on Friday. However, the injury will sideline the veteran point guard for the third time in four games, and his next chance to play is Tuesday against the 76ers, who he spent the first four years of his NBA career with. Kam Jones and Quenton Jackson should both see a slight uptick in minutes in McConnell's absence.
FEBRUARY 22 • ROTOWIRE
Still nursing hamstring injury McConnell (hamstring) is listed as questionable for Sunday's game against the Mavericks.
Impact McConnell was cleared to return Friday from a two-game absence due to a right hamstring injury, and he ended up making his first start of the season in a 131-118 loss to the Wizards, when he logged nine points, two assists, two rebounds and one steal over 15 minutes. Kam Jones (back) and Andrew Nembhard (toe) are both listed as questionable as well, so Quenton Jackson, Ben Sheppard and Taelon Peter would be slated for larger roles depending on the Pacers' backcourt availability for Sunday's contest.
FEBRUARY 21 • ROTOWIRE
Limited minutes in starting role McConnell (hamstring) registered nine points (4-8 FG, 1-2 3Pt), two rebounds, two assists and one steal in 15 minutes Friday in the Wizards' 131-118 loss to the Pacers.
Impact With Andrew Nembhard (back) sitting out the second leg of a back-to-back set, McConnell -- who missed his second straight game due to a hamstring injury in Thursday's 112-105 loss to Washington -- picked up his first start of the season after being cleared to play. McConnell didn't end up taking on a typical starter's workload, as head coach Rick Carlisle held him out for the final 19 minutes of the contest while the 15-42 Pacers seemingly prioritized their positioning in the draft lottery over winning the game. Expect McConnell to move back into a backup role Sunday against the Mavericks if Nembhard is cleared to play.

Starting Friday vs. Washington McConnell is in the Pacers' starting lineup against the Wizards on Friday, Scott Agness of FieldhouseFiles.com reports.
Impact McConnell was cleared to play Friday after missing the Pacers' last two games due to a right hamstring injury, and he'll make his first start of the season due to the absence of Andrew Nembhard (back). McConnell's last start took place April 11 against the Magic, when he registered 12 points, three assists, one rebound, one steal and one block over 21 minutes.
FEBRUARY 20 • ROTOWIRE
Will play Friday McConnell (hamstring) is available for Friday's game against the Wizards, Tony East of Forbes.com reports.
Impact McConnell has missed the Pacers' last two games due to right hamstring soreness. The veteran point guard has been given the green light to play in Friday's game, and he could have an expanded role in his return as Andrew Nembhard (back) is listed as doubtful. McConnell has averaged 9.6 points, 4.9 assists, 1.9 rebounds and 1.2 steals over 17.4 minutes per game since the new year.
