INJURIES

Good to go Saturday Horton-Tucker is available for Saturday's preseason game against the Grizzlies, K.C. Johnson of NBC Sports Chicago reports.
Impact Horton-Tucker was held out of Friday's practice due to calf tightness as a precautionary measure, but he is good to go for Saturday's preseason matchup. The 23-year-old appeared in 51 regular-season contests for Utah last season, during which he averaged 10.1 points, 3.5 assists and 2.4 rebounds across 19.8 minutes per game.

Absent from practice Horton-Tucker didn't practice Friday due to calf tightness, Will Gottlieb of AllCHGO.com reports.
Impact Horton-Tucker's status for Saturday's preseason matchup with the Grizzlies is now in question. However, there is no indication that the 23-year-old guard will miss any regular-season action.
OCTOBER 11, 2024 • ROTOWIRE
Latches on with Bulls Horton-Tucker agreed to an Exhibit 10 deal with Chicago on Wednesday, Shams Charania of The Athletic reports.
Impact Horton-Tucker has spent the last two seasons in Utah, averaging 10.7 points per game in 2022 and scoring 10.1 points in 19.8 minutes per contest in 2023. The five-year NBA veteran is only 23 years old, and he'll have an opportunity to make the regular-season roster if he performs well in training camp.

Latches on with Bulls Horton-Tucker agreed to an Exhibit 10 deal with Chicago on Wednesday, Shams Charania of The Athletic reports.
Impact Horton-Tucker spent the last two seasons in Utah, averaging 10.7 points per game in 2022 and scoring 10.1 points in 19.8 minutes per contest in 2023. The five-year NBA veteran is only 23 years old, and he'll have an opportunity to make the regular-season roster with an impressive training camp.
SEPTEMBER 4, 2024 • ROTOWIRE
Hits for team-high 24 Horton-Tucker finished with 24 points (10-23 FG, 4-8 3Pt), three rebounds, two assists, one block and one steal over 32 minutes off the bench during Tuesday's 111-95 loss to Denver...
Impact The 23-year-old guard led the Jazz in scoring on the night as he saw big minutes in the absence of Collin Sexton (illness), Jordan Clarkson (back) and Kris Dunn (foot). Horton-Tucker has scored 12 or more points in each of his last three games, draining multiple three-pointers in each, and he figured to hang onto a significant role in the backcourt over the final few games of the regular season.
APRIL 10, 2024 • ROTOWIRE
Leads from bench with 17 points Horton-Tucker closed with 17 points (5-14 FG, 2-5 3Pt, 5-7 FT), three rebounds, one assist and two steals in 26 minutes during Friday's 131-102 loss to the Clippers.
Impact The Jazz's starting five were almost completely ineffective in the blowout loss, and the huge deficit allowed Utah's bench to empty. Horton-Tucker didn't enter the game until the very end of the first quarter, but put in a full 12 minutes in the second and fourth quarters during the blowout. The 23-year-old was expected to have a bigger impact in his second year with the Jazz, but injuries plagues his 2023-24 campaign. His lengthy absences allowed other players to leapfrog him on the depth chart. After exercising his $11M option to remain with the team this year, his future with the team in a but cloudy as the Jazz need to pay oter valuable players on the roster.
APRIL 6, 2024 • ROTOWIRE
Status quo performance Horton-Tucker contributed seven points (2-7 FG, 1-3 3Pt, 2-3 FT), one rebound, three assists and two steals over 19 minutes during Monday's 114-104 loss to the Timberwolves.
Impact Horton-Tucker is now averaging 6.2 points, 1.2 rebounds and 2.7 assists in 17.2 minutes across his last six contests -- with Monday's outing representing an acute continuation of that production. On the season, Horton-Tucker's 0.891 points per possession ranks in the 25th percentile among all players, although he is posting a career high 2.9 percent steal-plus-block rate, so effort is present.
MARCH 19, 2024 • ROTOWIRE
Logs 20 minutes in loss Horton-Tucker racked up seven points (1-7 FG, 1-2 3Pt, 4-4 FT), eight rebounds, three assists and one block across 20 minutes during Saturday's 126-120 loss to Miami.
Impact Horton-Tucker moved back into the rotation Saturday, playing at least 20 minutes for the first time since late December. Although he has the ability to contribute across multiple categories, his role is far to insecure to warrant attention outside of very deep leagues.
MARCH 3, 2024 • ROTOWIRE
Sees playing time in blowout loss Horton-Tucker posted eight points (2-7 FG, 0-2 3Pt, 4-4 FT), three rebounds, two assists and one steal in eight minutes during Tuesday's 153-124 loss to New Orleans.
Impact The Jazz struggled to keep up with New Orleans on Tuesday, so Horton-Tucker saw some minutes for the first time since Jan. 5. He wasn't very efficient from the floor and is unlikely to see the court in closer matchups moving forward.
JANUARY 24, 2024 • ROTOWIRE
Sees garbage time minutes Horton-Tucker amassed 11 points (4-10 FG, 0-1 3Pt, 3-6 FT), one rebound and two steals across 12 minutes during Friday's 126-97 loss to the Celtics.
Impact Horton-Tucker got his first game action in the fourth quarter with the Jazz down by 30 points. It was his first appearance since Dec. 28 as he's fallen out of the rotation in favor of Keyonte George, Kris Dunn and Simone Fontecchio. Horton-Tucker has seen the court for just 18 minutes over his last two appearances.
JANUARY 6, 2024 • ROTOWIRE
Falling out of favor Horton-Tucker has logged two consecutive DNP-CDs, while making just one appearance across Utah's last six contests.
Impact Prior to this stretch of near complete removal from the rotation, Horton-Tucker had logged back-to-back starts with 30 minutes. Keyonte George, Kris Dunn and Simone Fontecchio have been on the rise of late, but Horton-Tucker leads all Utah players with a plus-9.1 net rating per 100 possessions this season -- excluding garbage time. Although that metric can be dictated by who Horton-Tucker shares the floor with, it's unclear why he's been entirely scrapped from Utah's lineups at this time.
JANUARY 2, 2024 • ROTOWIRE
Barely cracks rotation Thursday Horton-Tucker (foot) recorded two points (0-3 FG, 0-1 3Pt, 2-2 FT) in six minutes off the bench in Thursday's 112-105 loss to the Pelicans.
Impact After missing two straight games with left foot soreness, Horton-Tucker was cleared to play Tuesday, but he didn't see any run in the Jazz's 130-118 win over the Spurs. Horton-Tucker checked back into the rotation three days later, albeit in a small role while both Kris Dunn (19 minutes) and Keyonte George (22 minutes) saw most of the run at point guard. While he could eventually carve out a larger role, Horton-Tucker's playing time will likely be suppressed in the short term while Utah is at full strength in the backcourt.
DECEMBER 29, 2023 • ROTOWIRE
Available to play Tuesday Horton-Tucker (foot) will be available for Tuesday's game against the Spurs.
Impact Horton-Tucker missed the past two games for Utah and was carrying a questionable tag prior to this update. Although he will be available Tuesday, it will be interesting to see what type of role he will play, as the Jazz are also getting Keyonte George (foot) back in the mix. Horton-Tucker has fared well in December, posting averages of 16.3 points, 4.6 assists, 2.1 rebounds, 1.6 steals and 1.8 three-pointers.
DECEMBER 26, 2023 • ROTOWIRE
Iffy for Tuesday Horton-Tucker (foot) is questionable for Tuesday's game against the Spurs, Andy Larsen of The Salt Lake Tribune reports.
Impact Horton-Tucker has missed back-to-back games due to a foot injury. He was also listed as questionable ahead of Saturday's win over Toronto before being ruled out, so the designation doesn't offer much optimism. Keyonte George (foot) is also questionable, so it's unclear what Utah's backcourt rotation will look like.
DECEMBER 25, 2023 • ROTOWIRE
Will not return Horton-Tucker (foot) will not play against the Raptors on Saturday.
Impact Horton-Tucker will sit out for a second straight game, but he remains day-to-day. His next chance to play will be Tuesday against the Spurs. The good news for Utah is that they are getting Jordan Clarkson back from a thigh injury Saturday, and he's likely to play a sizable role right away with all the injuries the Jazz are dealing with.
DECEMBER 23, 2023 • ROTOWIRE
Iffy for Saturday Horton-Tucker (foot) is questionable for Saturday's game against the Raptors.
Impact Horton-Tucker missed his first game of the season Thursday and is in danger of being sidelined again. Jordan Clarkson (hamstring) may return from a lengthy absence Saturday, so even if Horton-Tucker is cleared to suit up, he'll presumably have a smaller role than usual.
DECEMBER 22, 2023 • ROTOWIRE
Unavailable Thursday Horton-Tucker has been ruled out for Thursday's game against the Pistons due to left foot soreness, Eric Walden of The Salt Lake Tribune reports.
Impact Horton-Tucker has started in three of the last four matchups but will sit out for the first time this season Thursday. The Jazz are resting several key players for Thursday's matchup against the struggling Pistons, so it certainly seems possible that Horton-Tucker will be able to return for Saturday's game against the Raptors.
DECEMBER 21, 2023 • ROTOWIRE
Double-double in Wednesday's loss Horton-Tucker ended with 19 points (6-13 FG, 0-1 3Pt, 7-8 FT), one rebound, 11 assists and one steal over 30 minutes during Wednesday's 124-116 loss to Cleveland.
Impact The double-double was his first of the season as Horton-Tucker took full advantage of the absences of Jordan Clarkson (thigh) and Keyonte George (foot). THT has started three of four games since George was sidelined, but the 23-year-old guard's turnaround began at the beginning of December. Horton-Tucker has scored in double digits in nine straight games, averaging 16.3 points, 4.6 assists, 2.1 boards, 1.8 threes and 1.6 steals over that stretch as he puts a bumpy start to the season behind him.
DECEMBER 21, 2023 • ROTOWIRE
Excels in starting role Horton-Tucker notched 27 points (11-19 FG, 5-7 3Pt), three rebounds, six assists and two steals across 31 minutes during Monday's 125-108 win over the Nets.
Impact Horton-Tucker got just his second start over his past 19 games, as both Jordan Clarkson (thigh) and Keyonte George (foot) were unable to suit up. Horton-Tucker took advantage of the opportunity with arguably his best game of the campaign, tallying a season-high point total on a very efficient shooting like that included a 5-for-7 mark from three-point range. The fifth-year pro finished with an identical 27/6/3 line as backcourt mate Collin Sexton, though Sexton was far less efficient from the field with a 6-for-17 mark. Horton-Tucker has scored in double digits in eight straight games and has tallied at least four dimes five times over that stretch. He could be a worthwhile fantasy pickup with Clarkson set to miss multiple weeks.
DECEMBER 19, 2023 • ROTOWIRE
Gets starting nod Horton-Tucker is in the starting lineup for Monday's game against Brooklyn.
Impact Horton-Tucker and Kris Dunn will swap roles Monday, with Dunn available to come off the bench. Horton-Tucker will be joined by Collin Sexton in Utah's starting backcourt Monday.
DECEMBER 19, 2023 • ROTOWIRE
Will play off bench Saturday Horton-Tucker is not in the starting lineup to face the Kings on Saturday, James Ham of ESPN 1320 Sacramento reports.
Impact Horton-Tucker was cleared to play shortly before this 10 p.m. ET tip-off since he was dealing with an illness, but he will be available off the bench, in a sign that perhaps indicates he's not 100 percent healthy. Kris Dunn and Collin Sexton will start on the backcourt for the Jazz.
DECEMBER 17, 2023 • ROTOWIRE
Available to face Sacramento Horton-Tucker (illness) is available to face the Kings on Saturday, Andy Larsen of The Salt Lake Tribune reports.
Impact Horton-Tucker was absent from shootaround ahead of Saturday's game versus Sacramento, but it seems that was just a precautionary move, as the versatile guard is available and should handle his regular workload. Horton-Tucker has scored in double digits in his last six appearances.
DECEMBER 17, 2023 • ROTOWIRE
Absent from shootaround Horton-Tucker (illness) didn't participate in shootaround ahead of Saturday's game versus Sacramento, Andy Larsen of The Salt Lake Tribune reports.
Impact Horton-Tucker is officially listed as questionable for Saturday's game due to a non-COVID illness. However, his absence from shootaround is a bad sign of his availability against Sacramento.
DECEMBER 16, 2023 • ROTOWIRE
Added to injury report Horton-Tucker is questionable for Saturday's game against the Kings with a non-COVID illness, Andy Larsen of The Salt Lake Tribune reports.
Impact Horton-Tucker pops up as the fourth Jazz player on the injury report with an illness, joining John Collins, Luka Samanic and Omer Yurtseven -- each of whom has been ruled out. Considering Utah's lengthy injury report, Horton-Tucker will be primed for a hefty workload if available. However, if he sits, expect Kris Dunn, Ochai Agbaji and Simone Fontecchio to handle more minutes.
DECEMBER 16, 2023 • ROTOWIRE
Pops for 23 against Portland Horton-Tucker produced 23 points (9-19 FG, 0-6 3Pt, 5-6 FT), two rebounds, four assists and four steals in 30 minutes during Thursday's 122-114 win over the Trail Blazers.
Impact The 23-year-old guard scored in double digits for the sixth straight game to begin December while producing his best offensive performance since he poured in 25 points against the Suns on Nov. 19. Horton-Tucker is averaging 14.8 points, 3.2 assists, 2.0 boards, 1.5 threes and 1.3 steals on the month while shooting 50.0 percent from the floor, and he should continue to see elevated usage as long as Jordan Clarkson (thigh) and Keyonte George (foot) remain sidelined.
