Isaiah Roby - Out for rest of Monday's game Roby will miss the second half of Monday's contest against Cleveland due to an ankle injury, independent NBA writer Matthew Tynan reports.
Impact The extent of Roby's injury is unknown, but he'll finish Monday's contest with one rebound and no other statistics across six minutes of court time. The Spurs will likely turn to either Charles Bassey or Gorgui Dieng at center when starter Zach Collins is off the floor.

Keita Bates-Diop - Back in starting lineup Monday Bates-Diop is starting Monday's contest against the Cavaliers, Spencer Davies of BasketballNews.com.
Impact After coming off the bench for the Spurs' previous outing, Bates-Diop is officially making his 22nd start of the season Monday. The Ohio State product is averaging 11.4 points, 4.8 rebounds and 1.5 assists across 28.0 minutes per game during his outings as a starter this year.
FEBRUARY 13, 2023 • ROTOWIRE
Charles Bassey - Available to play Bassey (leg) will be available to play Monday versus the Cavs, independent NBA writer Matthew Tynan reports.
Impact This will be Bassey's first game since Jan. 7, so he'll likely have his minutes monitored Monday night, but he's returning to a much different situation in San Antonio with Jakob Poeltl now in Toronto. He'll likely be operating as Zach Collins' backup, but he's shown this season that he's capable of putting up fantasy-relevant stat lines if he's able to clear the 20-minute mark, so keep an eye on him.
FEBRUARY 13, 2023 • ROTOWIRE
Jeremy Sochan - Active Monday Sochan (back) is available for Monday's contest against the Cavaliers, Ty Jager of PoundingTheRock.com reports.
Impact The ascending rookie is active for his second consecutive contest after missing four straight games due to a back issue. Sochan is averaging 14.8 points, 5.9 rebounds and 2.8 assists across 26.4 minutes per game over his last 10 appearances.
FEBRUARY 13, 2023 • ROTOWIRE
Keldon Johnson - Officially available Monday Johnson (ankle) is available for Monday's game against the Cavaliers, independent NBA writer Matthew Tynan reports.
Impact Johnson returned to action Saturday following a one-game absence due to his ankle injury, and he'll be able to suit up once again Monday after being labeled as probable. He's topped 20 points in his last three appearances and has averaged 22.7 points, 3.7 rebounds and 2.3 assists in 31.3 minutes per game during that time.
FEBRUARY 13, 2023 • ROTOWIRE
Doug McDermott - Downgraded to out McDermott (Achilles) is out for Monday's contest against the Cavaliers, Ty Jager of PoundingTheRock.com reports.
Impact The veteran forward will officially miss his second straight game as he tends to an Achilles injury. McDermott's next chance to suit up comes Wednesday against the Hornets.

Charles Bassey - Iffy for Monday's contest Bassey (foot) is questionable for Monday's matchup against the Cavaliers, Paul Garcia of ProjectSpurs.com reports.
Impact Bassey was awarded with a standard NBA contract Sunday, but he continues to nurse a sore left foot. When available, the second-year big man will compete for a bench role in San Antonio's frontcourt.
FEBRUARY 12, 2023 • ROTOWIRE
Doug McDermott - Questionable for Monday's contest McDermott (Achilles) is questionable for Monday's matchup against Cleveland, Paul Garcia of ProjectSpurs.com reports.
Impact McDermott suffered the Achilles injury during Friday's loss to the Pistons and was sidelined for the Spurs' subsequent contest Saturday. He's one of a handful of players on San Antonio's injury report, so it's currently unclear what Greg Popovich's rotation will look like versus the Cavaliers.
FEBRUARY 12, 2023 • ROTOWIRE
Keldon Johnson - Probable for Monday Johnson is probable for Monday's game against Cleveland due to left ankle soreness, Paul Garcia of ProjectSpurs.com reports.
Impact Johnson missed a pair of contests due to the ankle injury but returned to action Saturday and posted 25 points (9-14 FG) in 29 minutes. His official availability likely won't be known until closer to Monday's 7 p.m. ET tip, but if he suits up, he should garner his usual role against the Cavaliers.
FEBRUARY 12, 2023 • ROTOWIRE
Jeremy Sochan - Likely available Monday Sochan (back) is probable for Monday's game against the Cavaliers due to return to competition reconditioning, Paul Garcia of ProjectSpurs.com reports.
Impact Sochan was limited to 21 minutes during his return Saturday from a four-game absence due to back soreness. The rookie first-round pick will likely suit up again Monday but presumably remain on a minutes restriction for at least one more contest. Despite limitations, Sochan still posted 18 points (7-15 FG), nine rebounds, five assists, one steal and one block during San Antonio's loss to Atlanta.
FEBRUARY 12, 2023 • ROTOWIRE
Romeo Langford - Still out Langford (thigh) has been ruled out for Monday's matchup against Cleveland, Paul Garcia of ProjectSpurs.com reports.
Impact Langford will miss an 11th straight game due to left adductor tightness. His next chance to suit up will come Wednesday in Charlotte, which is San Antonio's final game before the All-Star break.
FEBRUARY 12, 2023 • ROTOWIRE
Tre Jones - Won't play Monday Jones (foot) has been ruled out for Monday's matchup against the Cavaliers, Paul Garcia of ProjectSpurs.com reports.
Impact Jones returned from a four-game absence due to the foot injury Saturday and was limited to 25 minutes during the loss to Atlanta. The point guard will be sidelined once again Monday, but it's unclear if his absence is precautionary or due to a setback. Either way, recently-acquired Devonte' Graham figures to the primary beneficiary of Jones' absence.
FEBRUARY 12, 2023 • ROTOWIRE
Tre Jones - Modest numbers in return Jones (foot) played 25 minutes in Saturday's 125-106 loss to the Hawks, finishing with eight points (3-8 FG, 0-1 3Pt, 2-2 FT), seven rebounds, three assists and two steals.
Impact Jones made his return to action after missing the Spurs' previous four games with a foot injury. Now that he's healthy again, Jones should maintain the team's starting point guard role for the rest of the season, though he now faces more competition for minutes in the form of trade-deadline pickup Devonte' Graham. Before acquiring Graham on Thursday, the Spurs had largely operated without a true backup point guard for most of the season, with wings such as Malaki Branham and the since-traded Josh Richardson having served as short-term options at the position when Jones was off the floor or sitting out games due to injury.

Spurs release F Stanley Johnson The San Antonio Spurs waived forward Stanley Johnson on Sunday.
FEBRUARY 12, 2023 • NEWSOBSERVER.COM
Charles Bassey - Gets standard NBA deal The Spurs informed Bassey (foot) on Sunday that he'll have his two-way contract converted into a standard NBA deal, Tom Orsborn of the San Antonio Express-News reports.
Impact Bassey was nearing his 50-day limit for time that two-way players are allotted to spend at the NBA level for the season, and since the 22-year-old center is still viewed as a high-priority developmental option for the rebuilding Spurs, the team was keen on clearing a spot for him on the 15-man roster. San Antonio facilitated the open roster spot by waiving veteran forward Stanley Johnson. Bassey had seen his most recent action in the G League, but he hadn't played with the Austin Spurs due to a sore left foot. The issue isn't viewed as a long-term concern, however, and Bassey looks as though he could be available as a bench option for San Antonio's next game Monday in Cleveland.
FEBRUARY 12, 2023 • ROTOWIRE
Khem Birch - Out through All-Star break Birch (knee) isn't expected to make his Spurs debut until after the All-Star break, Jeff McDonald of the San Antonio Express-News reports.
Impact Birch is dealing with a pre-existing knee issue, and the Spurs' medical staff wants to be cautious with the recently-acquired big man. The undrafted big man out of UNLV was traded to San Antonio as part of the deal that sent Jakob Poeltl back to Toronto, but it appears his tenure with the Spurs will have to wait until his new team assesses his health. When available, Birch will compete with Isaiah Roby and Gorgui Dieng for the top backup center spot behind Zach Collins.

Jeremy Sochan - Approaches double-double in return Sochan (back) supplied 18 points (7-15 FG, 2-7 3Pt, 2-2 FT), nine rebounds, five assists, one block and one steal over 21 minutes during Saturday's 125-106 loss to Atlanta.
Impact Even though his minutes were managed in his return from a four-game absence due to a back issue, Sochan delivered an excellent all-around performance. The rookie ended just one rebound away from recording what would have been his first career double-double, and he'll likely be in store for more minutes in future games once his injury is further in the rear-view mirror. If Sochan was dropped in 12-team category leagues while he was hurt, he might be worthy of a pickup, given the likelihood that his role is only likely to expand while the Spurs prioritize the development of younger players late in the season.
FEBRUARY 12, 2023 • ROTOWIRE
Keldon Johnson - Goes for 25 points in loss Johnson supplied 25 points (9-14 FG, 0-2 3Pt, 7-9 FT), two rebounds, two assists and one steal across 29 minutes during Saturday's 125-106 loss to the Hawks.
Impact Johnson didn't contribute heavily in other categories, but he was an efficient scorer in a game where the Spurs suffered another blowout loss. San Antonio isn't the most appealing team from a fantasy perspective, but Johnson has found a way to stand out among his teammates due to his consistent contributions on the offensive end. Even though he endured a rough shooting slump earlier this season, he's averaging 23.2 points per game while shooting 48.9 percent from the field over his last 15 outings.
FEBRUARY 12, 2023 • ROTOWIRE
Malaki Branham - Struggles from field Saturday Branham supplied 10 points (4-15 FG, 2-8 3Pt), six rebounds and one assist across 28 minutes during Saturday's 125-106 loss to Atlanta.
Impact Branham has been turning heads with his play of late, but as often happens with rookies, he's also going to deliver subpar performances occasionally. This was a woeful outing for the former Ohio State product, but he's been playing well as a starter in recent weeks, scoring at least 15 points in three of his last five appearances with the first unit. He's averaging 17.3 points, 4.0 rebounds and 3.0 assists across six February appearances.
