Damian Lillard - Sinks key shot in final minute Lillard registered 21 points (5-12 FG, 4-8 3Pt, 7-11 FT), five rebounds and four assists in 31 minutes during Tuesday's 136-129 win over the Lakers.

Impact Lillard came through when it mattered, hitting the clinching three with 43 seconds left on his way to 21 points. The 36-year-old has made a habit of big nights against the Lakers during his illustrious career, though he uncharacteristically missed four free throws. Portland is off to the franchise's second 3-0 start in the last 15 years, and Lillard's late-game shotmaking has been a big reason why.

Jrue Holiday - Excels off bench with 22 points Holiday registered 22 points (8-12 FG, 2-6 3Pt, 4-6 FT), four rebounds, three assists and one steal over 30 minutes during Tuesday's 136-129 win over the Lakers.

Impact Holiday gave Portland a big lift off the bench. The veteran guard's scoring and defensive versatility have given the Blazers one of the league's deepest backcourts. His role should stay prominent with Shaedon Sharpe (knee) out.

Ja Morant - Solid down the stretch Morant accumulated 23 points (9-13 FG, 1-1 3Pt, 4-4 FT) and four assists over 31 minutes during Tuesday's 136-129 win over the Lakers.

Impact Morant was extremely efficient in the win, hitting nine of his 13 shots and scoring on back-to-back midrange jumpers to put Portland up five in the final minutes. The guard has fit in quickly alongside Damian Lillard and Deni Avdija, giving the Blazers another closer in a balanced attack. Thursday's matchup with Memphis carries extra intrigue as he faces his former team.

Deni Avdija - Logs team-high 23 points Avdija notched 23 points (8-15 FG, 4-7 3Pt, 3-7 FT), four rebounds, nine assists and one steal over 33 minutes during Tuesday's 136-129 win over the Lakers.

Impact Avdija tied Morant for the team lead in scoring and nearly posted a double-double with nine assists, including a big three down the stretch. The forward has been the engine of Portland's 3-0 start, and with Shaedon Sharpe (knee) sidelined, the Blazers are leaning heavily on his playmaking. He'll look to keep it rolling Thursday at home against Memphis.

Sandro Mamukelashvili - Accurate shooting in first loss of season Mamukelashvili recorded 17 points (6-9 FG, 3-4 3Pt, 2-2 FT), four rebounds, two assists and one block over 24 minutes during Tuesday's 136-129 loss to the Trail Blazers.

Impact Mamukelashvili provided an early spark off the bench, scoring 13 points in the first half capped by a buzzer-beating three. The big man finished as the Lakers' third-leading scorer, and his ability to stretch the floor gives Los Angeles a different look behind Kessler. If he keeps shooting like this, he could push for more minutes in the frontcourt rotation.
