Pat Spencer News, Rumors, Updates - Phoenix Suns

Connects on two triples Spencer finished with eight points (2-5 FG, 2-4 3Pt, 2-2 FT) and one assist in 12 minutes during Wednesday's 124-117 preseason loss to Chicago.

Impact Spencer made both of his field goals from beyond the arc and avoided committing a turnover. The veteran guard will look to build on his perimeter shooting as he competes for playing time in Phoenix's crowded backcourt, though his regular-season fantasy outlook remains limited.

Lands two-way deal with Suns Spencer agreed to a two-way deal with the Suns on Thursday, Shams Charania of ESPN reports.

Impact Spencer spent the last three seasons with the Warriors. While the 29-year-old didn't see consistent action for Golden State over the years, he is still coming off his best season, averaging 11.4 points, 3.4 rebounds, 5.1 assists and 1.2 steals while shooting 40.0 percent from deep over 29.6 minutes in 14 regular-season starts. Spencer should get on the floor for the Suns throughout the 2026-27 campaign, though he might spend most of his time in the G League.

Draymond Green predicts Steve Kerr won't be back. The Warriors can't imagine life without him

Draymond Green doesn't expect Steve Kerr to return as coach of the Golden State Warriors

APRIL 20 • Associated Press

Positive step in third season Spencer chipped in two points (1-2 FG, 0-1 3Pt) in one minute during Friday's 111-96 Play-In Game loss to the Suns.

Impact Spencer was a healthy DNP for Wednesday's win against the Clippers before being limited to garbage time in Friday's loss. The Northwestern product enjoyed a productive third season in the NBA, averaging career highs in minutes (18.6), points (7.2), assists (3.5) and rebounds (2.4). Spencer enters the offseason as an unrestricted free agent and will certainly look to join a team who can promise him more consistent playing time.
