INJURIES

Logs career highs in win Dieng finished Wednesday's 119-113 loss to the Rockets with 36 points (15-31 FG, 1-7 3Pt, 5-5 FT), 10 assists, seven rebounds and one steal across 45 minutes.
Impact Dieng struggled from three-point range but made the most of his increased opportunities with Milwaukee shorthanded in the second leg of this back-to-back set. The 22-year-old forward returned to the first unit after coming off the bench in Tuesday's win over Dallas, and he dropped a game- and career-high 36 points. The fourth-year pro also dished out a game- and career-best 10 dimes, marking his sixth consecutive contest with at least four assists. Dieng should continue to see significant burn for the Bucks, who have already been eliminated from playoff contention and will likely want an extended look at him before he enters restricted free agency this summer.

Starting Wednesday Dieng will start Wednesday's game against the Rockets, per Lachard Binkley of SI.com.
Impact After shifting to the bench for Tuesday's win over the Mavericks upon Kuzma's return, Dieng will immediately rejoin the first unit for the second leg of Milwaukee's back-to-back set. The 22-year-old forward remained highly productive despite his brief reserve role Tuesday, posting an 11-point, 10-rebound double-double across 29 minutes. With Kuzma officially sidelined again, Dieng is primed for a heavy workload.

Fills stat sheet in win Dieng finished with 11 points (4-10 FG, 1-3 3Pt, 2-3 FT), 10 rebounds, five assists, one block and one steal across 29 minutes during Tuesday's 123-99 victory over Dallas.
Impact Dieng returned to the bench due to the return of Kyle Kuzma (Achilles) to the lineup, but he still posted an impressive double-double. Dieng is finally getting consistent minutes at the NBA level, and he's proving he can perform at a decent level. Over his last eight games (six starts), Dieng is averaging 12.0 points, 4.4 rebounds, 3.6 assists and 1.3 steals across 29.4 minutes per game while posting double-digit scoring numbers in six of those outings. Even if he ends the regular season coming off the bench, he's an option worth keeping close tabs on as a potential streamer, mainly in category-based leagues due to his ability to fill the stat sheet.

Coming off bench Tuesday Dieng won't start in Tuesday's game against Dallas.
Impact Dieng started in Milwaukee's last six games. However, with Kyle Kuzma (Achilles) back in the lineup, the 22-year-old will head back to the bench. With that said, Dieng was still productive in his last appearance as a reserve, finishing with 19 points, five rebounds, one assist and one steal across 30 minutes in the 123-116 loss to the Cleveland Cavaliers back on March 17.

Impact Making his fifth straight start, Dieng set a new career high in steals while scoring in double digits for the ninth time in his last 12 contests (11 starts). Over that latter stretch, the fourth-year forward is averaging 10.8 points, 4.2 boards, 3.3 assists, 1.9 threes and 0.8 steals as he takes on a much bigger role in the Bucks' injury-depleted rotation.

Chips in 13 in Thursday's start Dieng supplied 13 points (5-7 FG, 3-4 3Pt), one rebound, one assist, one block and two steals across 25 minutes during Thursday's 128-96 loss to the Jazz.
Impact Returning to the starting five after he came off the bench Tuesday in his return from a two-game absence due to an illness, Dieng made a minor splash at both ends of the court, and his 25 minutes actually led the Bucks. Dieng has drained multiple threes in six of his eight appearances in March (seven starts), averaging 10.5 points, 4.1 boards, 2.8 assists and 2.3 threes in 27.6 minutes while shooting 47.4 percent from long distance.

Impact Joining Dieng in the first unit for Thursday's game will be Ryan Rollins, AJ Green, Kyle Kuzma and Myles Turner. As a starting forward this season, Dieng owns averages of 12.0 points, 5.0 boards, 3.3 assists, 2.0 triples and 1.3 blocks per contest.

Strong line off bench Dieng notched 19 points (7-12 FG, 5-8 3Pt, 0-2 FT), five rebounds, one assist and one steal across 30 minutes during Tuesday's 123-116 loss to the Cavaliers.
Impact This was a terrific showing for Dieng, and he's absolutely trending up in fantasy hoops with the Bucks' playoff hopes fading. Plus, there's been reports that the team is considering shutting down Giannis Antetokounmpo (knee) for the remainder of the season.

Cleared to suit up Tuesday Dieng (illness) is available for Tuesday's game against Cleveland, per Eric Nehm of The Athletic.
Impact Dieng has missed the last two games because of an illness. Fortunately, he'll return on a night when the Bucks will be without Giannis Antetokounmpo (knee) and Myles Turner (calf). To make matters worse, Ryan Rollins (illness) remains questionable. Dieng has averaged 10.1 points, 5.4 rebounds, 3.7 assists, 0.7 blocks and 0.4 steals in seven starts this season. However, the 22-year-old could be more productive with Antetokounmpo, Turner and possibly Rollins sidelined.
MARCH 17 • ROTOWIRE
Questionable with illness Dieng (illness) is questionable for Tuesday's game against the Cavaliers.
Impact Dieng is at risk of missing a third consecutive contest due to an illness. Either Ryan Rollins or AJ Green would start in the backcourt if Dieng isn't feeling well enough to give it a go Tuesday, while Kyle Kuzma would also see a boost in streaming appeal in this scenario.
MARCH 16 • ROTOWIRE
Won't play Sunday Dieng (illness) has been ruled out for Sunday's game against the Pacers, Tony East of Forbes.com reports.
Impact Dieng will end up missing both ends of the Bucks' back-to-back set while battling through an illness, and his next chance to play is Tuesday against the Cavaliers. With Kevin Porter (knee) also sidelined, the Bucks will turn to Ryan Rollins, AJ Green and Taurean Prince to each take on elevated roles against Indiana.
MARCH 15 • ROTOWIRE
Could return Sunday Dieng (illness) is listed as questionable for Sunday's game against Indiana.
Impact Dieng sat out of Saturday's 122-99 loss against the Hawks, but there is a chance that he could return for the back leg of the Bucks' back-to-back set Sunday. Kevin Porter (knee) has already been ruled out, so Ryan Rollins, AJ Green and Taurean Prince would be in line for even more minutes if Dieng is also ruled out.
MARCH 15 • ROTOWIRE
Ruled out Saturday Dieng is out for Saturday's game against the Hawks due to an illness, per Eric Nehm of The Athletic.
Impact After leaving Thursday's loss to the Heat with the ailment, Dieng isn't feeling well enough to play Saturday and faces a short turnaround for Sunday's matchup with Indiana. His absence vacates a spot in the Bucks' starting lineup at shooting guard, which is likely to be filled by either AJ Green, Cam Thomas or Gary Trent.
MARCH 14 • ROTOWIRE
Questionable to play Saturday Dieng (illness) is listed as questionable for Saturday's game against the Hawks.
Impact An illness caused Dieng to depart during the first half of Thursday's loss to the Heat, when he played 14 minutes and finished with zero points. He's started in each of the Bucks' last six games, and if he's unable to play in Saturday's matinee, then Taurean Prince, AJ Green and Gary Trent would be the top candidates to enter the starting lineup.

MARCH 13 • Associated Press
Won't return Thursday Dieng has been ruled out for the remainder of Thursday's game against the Heat due to an illness. He'll end the night with zero points (0-2 FG) in 14 minutes.
Impact It was clear from the beginning of the game that Dieng wasn't feeling like himself, as he was shut down after failing to record a stat outside of two missed field-goal attempts. This doesn't appear to be a long-term concern for the 2022 first-round pick, who can be considered day-to-day leading up to Saturday's matchup with Atlanta.
