INJURIES

Starts second half Tuesday Sarr finished Tuesday's 101-100 win over the Clippers with four points (1-4 FG, 0-1 3Pt, 2-2 FT), six rebounds, two assists and two blocks across 19 minutes.
Impact After being excluded from the rotation in the Thunder's previous game Sunday against the Suns, Sarr not only drew back into the mix Tuesday, but he actually started the second half over Jaylin Williams, who was dealing with foul trouble. The Thunder's center rotation has been volatile for most of the season, so despite his solid showing Tuesday, Sarr can't be relied upon to take the court in Thursday's rematch with the Clippers. Dario Saric (coach's decision) didn't leave the bench Tuesday, but he had played double-digit minutes each of the past five games and may still be ahead of Sarr in the pecking order.
MARCH 22, 2023 • ROTOWIRE
Solid performance in loss Sarr finished with 17 points (7-11 FG, 1-2 3Pt, 1-3 FT), 10 rebounds and six assists in 32 minutes during Friday's 112-110 loss to the Stars.
Impact After a brief stint with the Thunder, Sarr made his return to the G League where he dominated by finishing with a double-double on an efficient clip. While with the Blue, expect him to continue to play at a high level as the primary big man.
MARCH 13, 2023 • ROTOWIRE
Gets run in blowout Sarr played 11 minutes in Wednesday's 132-101 loss to the Suns, finishing with five points (2-3 FG, 0-1 3Pt, 1-1 FT), two rebounds and one block.
Impact Since Oklahoma City was without five players due to injury or rest and the game turned into a blowout by the end of the third quarter, head coach Mark Daigneault was able to empty the bench and get a look at Sarr, who played all but one minute and 11 seconds of the final period. Jaylin Williams and Jeremiah Robinson-Earl both played ahead of Sarr and appear to be the Thunder's preferred options at center, so the second-year big man out of Kentucky looks as though he'll find himself out of the rotation more often than not.

NOVEMBER 18, 2022 • THEATHLETIC.COM
Waived by Trail Blazers The Trail Blazers waived Sarr (wrist) on Friday, Adrian Wojnarowski of ESPN reports.
Impact Sarr has been dealing with a high-grade partial tear in his right wrist since late October, and it's not yet clear when he'll be deemed ready to return to game action. However, he'll be forced to seek out other opportunities after the Trail Blazers signed Ibou Badji to a two-way contract Friday. Sarr could wind up in the G League if no other NBA team has a two-way opening to use on him.
NOVEMBER 18, 2022 • ROTOWIRE
To be re-evaluated in six weeks Sarr recently underwent a further evaluation that revealed a high-grade partial tear in his right wrist and will be re-evaluated in six weeks.
Impact An injury update posted by the Trail Blazers revealed the injury suffered Oct. 11 is more serious than initially thought. With fellow big man Trendon Watford (hip) yet to make a regular-season appearance, Justise Winslow and Drew Eubanks should see more minutes in what is now an extremely thin frontcourt.
OCTOBER 21, 2022 • ROTOWIRE
Won't play Friday Sarr (wrist) has been ruled out for Friday's game against the Suns, Casey Holdahl of the Trail Blazers' official site reports.
Impact Sarr missed Wednesday's opener against the Kings due to a sprained right wrist, and it appears he isn't quite ready to make his season debut. With Trendon Watford (hip) also set to miss Friday's game, Drew Eubanks could see increased run in Portland's frontcourt behind starting center Jusuf Nurkic.
OCTOBER 21, 2022 • ROTOWIRE
Out Wednesday Sarr (wrist) won't play in Wednesday's game against the Kings, Jason Anderson of The Sacramento Bee reports.
Impact Sarr will officially miss the season opener with a lingering wrist injury. The center's next chance to make his season debut looms Friday versus the Suns.

Reevaluation coming in a week An MRI on Thursday confirmed Sarr sprained his right wrist in Tuesday's preseason game against the Kings, Casey Holdahl of the Trail Blazers' official site reports. He will be eval...
Impact Despite the wrist issue, Portland converted Sarr's contract to a two-way deal Thursday, indicating he will remain part of the organization this season and figures to see time at both levels. Sarr will presumably be unavailable for the start of the regular season, though it's unclear how long his unavailability will extend.
OCTOBER 13, 2022 • ROTOWIRE
Contract converted to two-way deal The Trail Blazers converted Sarr's (wrist) contract to a two-way deal Thursday, Adrian Wojnarowski of ESPN reports.
Impact Sarr sustained a right wrist sprain Tuesday against the Warriors, and it's not yet clear whether he'll be available for the Trail Blazers' regular-season opener next week. The 23-year-old appeared in 22 games for the Thunder last year, and his two-way contract will give the Trail Blazers flexibility to move him between the parent club and G League this season.
OCTOBER 13, 2022 • ROTOWIRE
Out for remainder of game Sarr (wrist) exited Tuesday's preseason game versus the Warriors and will not return, Aaron J. Fentress of The Oregonian reports.
Impact Sarr suffered a right wrist sprain in Tuesday's preseason game versus the Warriors. This injury will not help the second-year center's chances of making the regular- season roster. Sarr averaged 7.0 points and 4.2 rebounds in 19.1 minutes across 22 games as a rookie for the Thunder last season.

Portland Trail Blazers sign center Olivier Sarr, release Norvel Pelle Sarr, a 7-footer, adds much-needed height to the roster.
SEPTEMBER 5, 2022 • OREGONLIVE.COM
Leads all scorers off bench Sarr finished with 24 points (9-12 FG, 5-6 3PT, 1-1 FT), six rebounds, two blocks and one assist in Sunday's 117-96 victory over Phoenix.
Impact Sarr was extremely efficient off the bench to record a season-high in points, blocks and three-pointers made. After reaching double-digit points just twice in his first 17 career games played, the rookie has eclipsed the mark in each of his last four.
APRIL 4, 2022 • ROTOWIRE
Continues solid play off bench Sarr had 11 points (4-7 FG, 1-1 3Pt, 2-2 FT), five rebounds, two assists and two blocks across 30 minutes during Friday's 110-101 loss to Detroit.
Impact Sarr tied his season high with two blocks and finished with at least 10 points and five rebounds for a third consecutive game. During that stretch, the undrafted rookie out of Kentucky has averaged 13.3 points, 6.3 rebounds, 1.3 assists and 1.0 blocks in 30.3 minutes per game. With Derrick Favors (back), Mike Muscala (ankle) and Darius Bazley (knee) all out for the season, Sarr figures to continue operating as the top backup center behind Isaiah Roby.
APRIL 2, 2022 • ROTOWIRE
Good to go Wednesday Sarr (illness) is available Wednesday against the Magic, Joe Mussatto of The Oklahoman reports.
Impact Sarr sat out Monday's game against the Celtics due to an illness but is good to go Wednesday. Over the past 12 games, he's averaged 5.2 points and 3.9 rebounds in 17.9 minutes while sharing center duties with Isaiah Roby.
MARCH 23, 2022 • ROTOWIRE
Questionable for Wednesday Sarr (illness) is listed as questionable Wednesday against Orlando.
Impact An illness kept Sarr out of Monday's blowout loss to Boston and enabled Isaiah Roby to see increased minutes. The two have traded off the primary center role of late, so if Sarr misses another game, Roby would likely be in line for his third consecutive start.
MARCH 22, 2022 • ROTOWIRE
Listed as out Monday Sarr (illness) is listed as out Monday against Boston.
Impact Sarr was not included on any injury reports throughout the day, but he popped up on the latest list with a non-COVID illness. With several other regulars sidelined, the tanking Thunder will once again play lineup roulette Monday night. Isaiah Roby is the most likely option to replace Sarr at center.
MARCH 21, 2022 • ROTOWIRE
Coming off bench Sunday Sarr isn't starting Sunday's game against the Magic, Joe Mussatto of The Oklahoman reports.
Impact Sarr had started two of the last three games, but he'll come off the bench in Sunday's matchup. Isaiah Roby will draw the start.
MARCH 20, 2022 • ROTOWIRE
In starting lineup Friday Sarr will start Friday's game against the Heat, Joe Mussatto of The Oklahoman reports.
Impact Sarr will make his second start of the season Friday as Isaiah Roby shifts to the bench. He's averaging 4.8 points and 3.5 rebounds in 15.2 minutes per game this season.
MARCH 19, 2022 • ROTOWIRE
Back to bench Sarr will come off the bench for Wednesday's game against the Spurs, Jeff McDonald of the San Antonio Express-News reports.
Impact With Isaiah Roby back in the starting five, Sarr will return to a bench role. He's averaging 8.4 points, 4.2 rebounds and 1.1 assists in 18.2 minutes per game this season.
MARCH 17, 2022 • ROTOWIRE
Scores seven points in spot start Sarr ended with seven points (2-5 FG, 0-1 3Pt, 3-4 FT), seven rebounds, three assists and one block across 32 minutes during Monday's 134-116 loss to Charlotte.
Impact Sarr is just the next in a long line of Thunder players to get a look at a starting role. While his production was serviceable, all he really did was crush the value of Isaiah Roby, who had been able to carve out a borderline 12-team role over the past couple of weeks. Looking ahead, Sarr could indeed remain in the starting lineup for at least another game or two, although as we saw here, that does not necessarily mean he should be added outside of deeper formats.
MARCH 15, 2022 • ROTOWIRE
Set for first NBA start Sarr will make his first career NBA start Monday night against the Hornets, Rylan Stiles of Locked On Thunder reports.
Impact Sarr is just the latest little-known player to work his way into the Thunder's starting lineup, as he'll get the nod over Isaiah Roby and veteran Derrick Favors. At this point in the calendar, Oklahoma City is firmly in young-player-evaluation mode, so it wouldn't be surprising if Sarr logs a few more starts over the final few weeks of the season. The Kentucky product finished Sunday night's loss to Memphis with two points, four rebounds and a steal in 16 minutes off the bench.

Supplants Favors as backup center Sarr scored a career-high 12 points (5-8 FG, 1-2 3Pt, 1-2 FT) and added four rebounds across 26 minutes Monday in the Thunder's 131-110 loss to the Kings.
Impact For the second straight game, head coach Mark Daigneault deployed Sarr as the backup to starting center Isaiah Roby, while Derrick Favors was left out of the rotation. Though Favors is probably the more reliable option of the two big men at this stage of his career, he's also a veteran on a rebuilding team, so expect Sarr's development to remain a greater priority as the season winds down. The undrafted rookie out of Kentucky has averaged 8.0 points, 4.0 rebounds and 1.0 assists in 23.5 minutes between the past two games, so he warrants attention only in deep leagues at this point.
