Kelsey Plum - Receives core qualifying offer The Sparks extended a core qualifying offer to Plum Tuesday.
Impact Both sides could still work out a long-term agreement. For now, Plum is in line to play on a one-year, supermax deal. After the 31-year-old spent her entire career with the Aces, she was traded to the Sparks ahead of the 2025 campaign. In 43 appearances, Plum averaged 19.5 points, 3.1 rebounds, 5.7 assists, 1.2 steals and 0.1 blocks across 35.1 minutes.

Alissa Pili - Receives qualifying offer The Sparks extended a reserved qualifying offer to Pili on Tuesday, Khristina Williams of MSG Network reports.
Impact After getting waived by Minnesota, Pili latched on with Los Angeles but made only five appearances for the Sparks last season. However, she did enough to impress the organization to keep her around for another year. Her role will likely be minor to open 2026, but that'll depend on how the rest of free agency plays out.

Rae Burrell - Receives qualifying offer The Sparks extended a reserved qualifying offer to Burrell on Tuesday, Khristina Williams of MSG Network reports.
Impact Burrell has played double-digit minutes per game in each of her first four WNBA seasons, all in Los Angeles. She posted career highs in points (7.5), rebounds (2.3), assists (1.2) and minutes (18.4) per game in 2025. With this move, she'll return to the Sparks, but she'll likely handle a reserve role again.

Julie Vanloo - Gets qualifying offer The Sparks extended a reserved qualifying offer to Vanloo on Tuesday, Khristina Williams of MSG Network reports.
Impact Vanloo made her WNBA debut in 2024 at 31 years old and was surprisingly productive for Washington. However, she failed to replicate that success with Golden State and Los Angeles last season. In 26 games with the Sparks, she scored in double figures only once and had 14 scoreless outings. Despite the lack of scoring, it looks like she'll return to the Sparks and play a minor role in 2026.
