Sacramento takes on New York following Fox's 44-point showing

Associated Press
Officially out Sunday
Noel (foot) has been downgraded to out for Sunday's game against the Clippers, Steve Popper of Newsday reports.
Impact
The Knicks initially omitted Noel from their injury report for Sunday's contest, but as has been the case since the All-Star break, the veteran center will remain out while he continues to deal with plantar fasciitis in his left foot. New York also lists Taj Gibson (illness) as doubtful for the contest, so rookie Jericho Sims is seemingly locked in as the top backup to starter Mitchell Robinson.

ROTOWIRE
Off injury report
Noel (foot) isn't listed on the Knicks' injury report ahead of Sunday's game against the Clippers.
Impact
Noel was previously off the Knicks' injury report for the first two games coming out of the All-Star break, but reports surfaced shortly thereafter indicating the big man was only available in an emergency while he contends with plantar fasciitis in his left foot. The center was also removed from the injury report ahead of Friday's game in Phoenix, but he didn't see the court while Jericho Sims continued to serve as the primary backup to Mitchell Robinson. It's thus unclear if head coach Tom Thibodeau actually plans to include Noel in the rotation Sunday, as the 27-year-old may not be fully healthy despite technically being available once again.

Not expected to be available
Noel (foot) is not included on the Knicks' injury report, but he's not expected to be available for Wednesday's game against the 76ers, Stefan Bondy of the New York Daily News rep...
Impact
Noel has not played since Feb. 7 due to plantar fasciitis, and he was not able to practice Monday, so it's unclear why the Knicks insist on omitting him from the official injury report. In any case, the big man is technically available, but coach Tom Thibodeau intimated Monday that he'll once again go unused. At this point, it's unclear when Noel will be ready to return to game action.

Dealing with plantar fasciitis
Noel went unused off the bench in Sunday's loss to the 76ers for the second game in a row while he continues to deal with plantar fasciitis, Stefan Bondy of the New York Daily News...
Impact
Noel missed five straight games due to a left foot injury ahead of the All-Star break, but the Knicks removed him from the injury report for both of the team's first two games of the second half. However, Noel looks like he might have only been available in an emergency, given that Ian Begley of SportsNet New York relays that the center's injury dates back to his last appearance Feb. 7 in Utah. Noel will get some extended time off to rest in advance of the Knicks' next game Wednesday in Philadelphia, but if he remains bothered by the injury, Jericho Sims is likely to stick in the rotation as the primary backup to Mitchell Robinson.

Noel (foot) is questionable for Friday's game against Miami.

Ruled out Monday
Noel (foot) is out Monday against the Thunder, Steve Popper of Newsday reports.
Impact

ROTOWIRE
Questionable for Monday
Noel is listed questionable for Monday's contest against the Thunder with a sore left foot.
Impact
After missing two straight games due to a sore left knee, Noel's most recent absence for Saturday's loss to the Trail Blazers was attributed to a sore left foot. Considering he has been listed as questionable ahead of each of the last three contests, his designation heading into Monday's contest doesn't offer much optimism he'll be available. Mitchell Robinson (ankle) is also questionable, so Taj Gibson and Obi Toppin could be in store for increased run at center if neither of the top two options on the depth chart is available.

Added to injury report
Noel is listed as questionable for Tuesday's game in Denver due to a sore left knee.
Impact
Noel appears on the injury report ahead of the second game of the Knicks' back-to-back set after he played 12 minutes in Monday's 113-104 loss to the Jazz, finishing the night with zero points (0-1 FG, 0-2 FT), three rebounds and one steal. If Noel can't go Tuesday, Taj Gibson would likely enter the rotation as the primary backup to starting center Mitchell Robinson.
