Mavs sign undrafted rookie guard Ryan Nembhard to standard contract

The Dallas Mavericks have signed point guard Ryan Nembhard to a standard NBA contract after he thrived as an undrafted rookie free agent on a two-way deal

Kelly has spent most of the 2025-26 season in the G League with the Texas Legends, but he saw extended action for the Mavericks in their 124-105 loss to the Grizzlies on Friday, when he logged nine points, five rebounds, four assists, one steal and one block over 31 minutes. Kelly could remain with the organization in the G League if he clears waivers.

Impact Kelly followed up his 17-point Summer League debut Thursday with a quieter outing Saturday, though he still connected on a pair of three-pointers. The Auburn product joined the Mavericks on a two-way contract after going undrafted in the 2025 NBA Draft. He averaged 11.3 points while shooting 40.6 percent from the field and 37.8 percent from three over 38 games during the 2024-25 season.
