INJURIES

Decent in return Olynyk posted eight points (3-9 FG, 1-3 3Pt, 1-1 FT), eight rebounds, three assists and one block across 31 minutes during Friday's 122-114 loss to the Celtics.
Impact Olynyk returned from a one-game absence to post his first single-digit scoring performance since March 13. However, as usual, the veteran did enough in peripheral categories to bolster his fantasy value. In March, Olynyk averaged 12.8 points, 7.6 rebounds and 4.9 assists in 28.7 minutes.

Will play Friday Olynyk (illness) is available for Friday's game against Boston, Sarah Todd of The Deseret News reports.
Impact Olynyk didn't play Wednesday and was initially considered questionable for Friday, but he'll ultimately get the green light and will presumably take his usual spot in the starting lineup. Before his absence, Olynyk had appeared in 24 straight games and averaged 12.3 points, 7.4 rebounds and 4.1 assists with 48/33/89 shooting splits during that stretch.

Questionable Friday Olynyk (illness) is questionable for Friday's game against Boston.
Impact Olynyk was a late scratch for Wednesday's game against the Spurs due to his non-COVID illness, and it's unclear whether he'll be able to suit up against the Celtics. If he remains out, Simone Fontecchio and Juan Toscano-Anderson will likely have a chance to see increased minutes.

Nears triple-double Saturday Olynyk contributed 17 points (7-12 FG, 0-2 3Pt, 3-3 FT), eight rebounds, 10 assists and one steal in 32 minutes during Saturday's 121-113 loss to the Kings.
Impact Utah put up a valiant effort without leading scorer Lauri Markkanen (hand) against Sacramento, and Olynyk played a major role in the performance. The big man led Utah with 10 assists, falling one short of his career-high mark. He added 17 points and eight boards to fall just shy of a triple-double. Olynyk has recorded a double-double in four of his past five games, though the three prior to Saturday were reached by notching double-digit boards rather than assists.

Double-doubles in loss Olynyk posted 12 points (2-8 FG, 0-4 3Pt, 8-8 FT), 10 rebounds, two assists and two steals in 31 minutes during Wednesday's 127-115 loss to the Trail Blazers.
Impact Olynyk came back to earth a bit with the return of Lauri Markkanen, but he's created a bit of a double-double streak, hitting the milestone for his third consecutive game He's also building on a streak at the free-throw line, where he's made 18 straight attempts over a six-game span.
MARCH 23 • ROTOWIRE
Thrives in playmaking role Olynyk finished Monday's 128-120 win over the Kings with 19 points (6-12 FG, 4-7 3Pt, 3-3 FT), 10 rebounds, eight assists and one steal across 31 minutes.
Impact With Lauri Markkanen (back) joining Jordan Clarkson (finger) and Collin Sexton (hamstring) on the sideline Monday, Olynyk took on increased playmaking responsibilities. His eight assists matched a season high and ranked second on the Jazz behind Kris Dunn (10), while the 19 points marked his top total since the All-Star break. Head coach Will Hardy hinted prior to the contest that all three of Utah's injured starters could miss additional time beyond Monday, so Olynyk looks as though he may continue to take on elevated usage in Wednesday's game against the Trail Blazers.

Agbaji scores 27, Jazz hold off Kings for 128-120 victory

Ochai Agbaji scored a career-high 27 points, including six 3-pointers, to lead the Utah Jazz to a 128-120 victory over the Sacramento Kings

Pours in 17 Olynyk accumulated 17 points (7-9 FG, 2-3 3Pt, 1-1 FT), six rebounds and one steal over 30 minutes during Saturday's 119-111 win over the Hornets.
Impact Olynyk was ridiculously efficient and continued his scoring momentum. He's now averaging 13.8 points across his last five games. Notably, Saturday marked Olynyk's first game all year without recording an assist. His passing has been a key facet in Utah's upstart offensive campaign.

Records double-double Sunday Olynyk logged 15 points (4-8 FG, 1-3 3Pt, 6-7 FT), 10 rebounds and five assists over 31 minutes during Sunday's 129-119 loss to Oklahoma City.
Impact Olynyk posted his first double-double since the All-Star break, but it's worth noting he has now accomplished that feat three times over his last seven appearances. The veteran big man is averaging 12.6 points, 7.5 rebounds and 3.3 assists per game since the start of February (13 games).
MARCH 6 • ROTOWIRE
Available Saturday Olynyk (ankle) is available for Saturday's game against the Spurs, Tony Jones of The Athletic reports.
Impact Despite a sprained ankle, Olynyk will see the floor. Over his past seven appearances, the veteran has averaged 15.6 points, 7.6 rebounds and 3.4 assists in 29.7 minutes.
FEBRUARY 25 • ROTOWIRE
Questionable vs. Spurs Olynyk is questionable for Saturday's matchup against the Spurs due to a right ankle sprain.
Impact Utah could be down two starters Saturday, as Collin Sexton (hamstring) has already been ruled out. Olynyk is playing well lately, scoring double-digit points in seven straight games (15.6 PPG) while adding 7.6 boards and 3.4 assists in 29.7 minutes. If he sits out Saturday, more minutes could be in store for Rudy Gay (nose), who is also questionable, Juan Toscano-Anderson and Simone Fontecchio.
FEBRUARY 24 • ROTOWIRE
Posts another double-double Olynyk provided 28 points (9-16 FG, 3-7 3Pt, 7-7 FT), 14 rebounds and six assists in 37 minutes during Wednesday's 117-111 loss to Memphis.
Impact With Lauri Markkanen (knee) out and Collin Sexton (hamstring) leaving early, Olynyk carried the Jazz. The power forward heads into the All-Star Break having scored in double figures in six straight games, capping the run with his best performance of the season. He posted season highs in points and rebounds. Plus, the 31-year-old only has one game this season with more than six assists. If Markkanen and Sexton are ready to go after the break, Olynyk likely won't produce these numbers, but he showed he is capable of ripping off big games.

Posts efficient double-double Olynyk tallied 18 points (5-6 FG, 4-4 3Pt, 4-4 FT), 10 rebounds, two assists and one steal over 31 minutes in Monday's 123-117 win over the Pacers.
Impact After Olynyk returned in late January from an eight-game absence due to an ankle injury, the Jazz had him ramp up slowly, but he's settling back in quite nicely alongside new frontcourt partner Walker Kessler. With the Jazz moving Jarred Vanderbilt at the trade deadline, Olynyk no longer faces a threat for his starting role, not that his recent play had put him at risk of demotion anyway. While clearing 25 minutes in all but one of his last six games, Olynyk has averaged 12.5 points, 7.0 rebounds, 3.2 assists, 1.5 three-pointers and 0.5 steals per contest.
FEBRUARY 14 • ROTOWIRE
Nearly triple-doubles Olynyk closed Friday's 122-116 victory over Toronto with 15 points (6-12 FG, 1-5 3Pt, 2-2 FT), seven rebounds, eight assists, one block and one steal across 32 minutes.
Impact Olynyk will have a little bit more breathing room in Utah, as Jarred Vanderbilt is now with the Lakers. He was already trending up before the deadline, averaging 12.5 points, 6.0 rebounds, 2.0 assists and 1.0 three-pointers in his previous two games. He's likely to have a steady role as long as the Jazz are within reach of a playoff spot, and Friday was a good example of what he brings to the table.

Tops double-digit scoring in loss Olynyk supplied 11 points (4-8 FG, 0-3 3Pt, 3-3 FT), six rebounds and three assists over 28 minutes during Monday's 124-111 loss to Dallas.
Impact Olynyk scored in double-digits for the first time since returning from injury, an indication that he is beginning to get some rhythm back in his game. He has played at least 28 minutes in two straight games and is well on the way to establishing himself as a 30-minute-per-night player once again. While the upside is not as high as it was to begin the season, Olynyk should be able to chug along as a solid top 120 player moving forward.
FEBRUARY 7 • ROTOWIRE
Hauls in 10 boards Olynyk recorded six points (2-9 FG, 1-3 3Pt, 1-1 FT), 10 rebounds and four assists in 30 minutes during Friday's 115-108 loss to the Hawks.
Impact Olynyk struggled shooting but made up for it with 10 boards -- just his second time reaching double-digit rebounds this season. He also recorded four assists for a second consecutive game. While Olynyk has shown upside as a starter, it remains to be seen if he'll remain on the rebuilding Jazz past Thursday's trade deadline. If he gets dealt, the veteran will presumably come off the bench.

Limited minutes in return Olynyk (ankle) logged 15 minutes in Saturday's 108-100 win over the Mavericks, finishing with three points (1-4 FG, 1-2 3Pt), two assists and one rebounds.
Impact Though he took on a starting role over Malik Beasley in his return from an eight-game absence, Olynyk was on a significant minutes restriction while suiting up for the first time in nearly three weeks. His playing time will likely ramp up a bit in the games to come, but Olynyk could struggle to reach the 28.2 minutes per game he's averaging for the season even once he's further removed from the ankle injury. Frontcourt mate Walker Kessler earned himself a larger role while Olynyk was sidelined, and Jarred Vanderbilt, Beasley, Collin Sexton and Ochai Agbaji are all bench players who offer varying skill sets who could poach minutes from Olynyk depending on the matchup.
JANUARY 29 • ROTOWIRE
Starting Saturday Olynyk will start in Saturday's game against the Mavericks, Andy Larsen of The Salt Lake Tribune reports.
Impact Olynyk will be featured at the power forward position Saturday alongside Walker Kessler in the frontcourt. Although the shift may take some rebound opportunities away from Olynyk, he should also see an uptick in three-point attempts considering he will spend more time on the wing. Although Olynyk has missed nearly three weeks of action due to an ankle injury, his appearance in the first unit indicates he should see a full or near-full workload.
JANUARY 28 • ROTOWIRE
Good to go Saturday Olynyk (ankle) will suit up for Saturday's game against the Mavericks, Eric Walden of The Salt Lake Tribune reports.
Impact Olynyk is set for his first game action since Jan. 8 against the Grizzlies. It's unclear if he will face any restrictions following the multi-week layoff, but the big man should play a sizable role when his conditioning is up to snuff. Olynyk has started every game he's appeared in this season, averaging 12.2 points, 5.0 rebounds, 3.3 assists, 1.1 steals and 0.6 blocks over 28.6 minutes.
