Finishes with 12 points Grant supplied 12 points (2-6 FG, 1-2 3Pt, 7-8 FT), one rebound, one assist and two steals in 17 minutes during Tuesday's 114-95 loss to San Antonio in Game 5 of the first round of...
Impact Grant's 12 points were enough to earn the second-highest total on the team amid anemic performances from the first unit. The Trail Blazers will now look to the offseason, and one of the biggest hurdles for team improvement is Grant's terrible contract. Grant has one year left of a five-year, $160M deal, a price that's almost unheard of for a guy who spent half of the season with the second unit. Grant certainly adds value to the team, but his contract limits the moves they can make while he is still on the payroll.

Impact Grant comfortably led the second unit in scoring, but it wasn't enough as the Trail Blazers dropped to a 3-1 series deficit. Grant has had a tough series overall, however, as he's averaging 10.0 points and 2.0 rebounds while shooting 35.1 percent from the field.

Impact Portland was able to pull off the upset victory Tuesday, but Grant didn't play a significant part. The veteran forward has logged 20 minutes or fewer in each of his last three games since returning from an extended absence with a calf strain, and it remains to be seen if he'll see his workload increase at any point this series.

Drops 16 points in return Grant closed Tuesday's 114-110 Play-In Game victory over the Suns with 16 points (5-12 FG, 4-8 3Pt, 2-2 FT), two rebounds and one block across 19 minutes.
Impact Grant returned to action after missing the previous seven games due to a calf injury. Although he only played 19 minutes, Grant's impact was immediate, connecting on a couple of late three-pointers, helping the Trail Blazers rally back to eventually secure the seventh seed in the Western Conference. Assuming he didn't suffer any setbacks, expect Grant to play a little more when Portland faces San Antonio on Sunday.

Listed as questionable for Tuesday Grant (calf) is listed as questionable for Tuesday's Play-In Tournament game against the Suns.
Impact Grant holds a questionable tag after missing the final seven games of the regular season due to a right calf strain. Averaging 18.6 points across 57 regular-season contests, the veteran wing would provide a welcome scoring boost as the Trail Blazers look to secure the No. 7 seed with a win over the Suns. Grant has started each of his past 24 appearances, though it's possible he comes off the bench (if active) with the team rolling out a starting five of Scoot Henderson, Jrue Holiday, Toumani Camara, Deni Avdija and Donovan Clingan.
