Signs camp deal with Washington Nowell and the Wizards agreed to an Exhibit 10 contract Wednesday, Josh Robbins of The Athletic reports.

Impact Nowell was among the top free agents available and could have a decent shot at making Washington's final roster. In 197 career regular-season games with stints in Minnesota, Memphis and Detroit, Nowell holds averages of 8.9 points, 2.2 rebounds, 1.8 assists and 1.0 three-pointers.

Impact Nowell had a nine-game stint with the Grizzlies earlier this season, but has since been playing for Stockton in the G League. Given the amount of injuries in Detroit, this could be a good opportunity for Nowell to showcase his talents.

The 2019 second-round pick spent the first four years of his career with the Timberwolves but has been with the G League's Stockton Kings this year.
