Jaylen Clark News, Rumors, Updates - Minnesota Timberwolves

Questionable with calf soreness Clark is questionable for Wednesday's game against Utah due to right calf soreness.

Impact Clark is in danger of being out for the second half of this back-to-back set. However, he hasn't seen any playing time in two of Minnesota's last three contests, suggesting Clark is a negligible part of the rotation for now.

MARCH 18 • ROTOWIRE

No playing time Friday Clark (coach's decision) went unused off the bench Friday in the Timberwolves' 127-117 win over the Warriors.

Impact Clark had seen action in each of Minnesota's last four games and averaged 4.0 points in 4.5 minutes, but all of those appearances came in the fourth quarter of contests in which the outcome was already decided. The third-year wing will likely continue to find himself outside of the Minnesota rotation for the foreseeable future.

MARCH 14 • ROTOWIRE

Good to go Thursday Clark (illness) is available for Thursday's game against the Raptors.

Impact Clark was initially listed as questionable for Thursday's game due to an illness, but the third-year pro has been given the green light to play against Toronto. However, his availability shouldn't impact the Timberwolves' rotation all that much, given that he's been a healthy DNP in five of Minnesota's last six games since the All-Star break.

MARCH 5 • ROTOWIRE

Iffy for Thursday Clark (illness) is questionable for Thursday's game against Toronto.

Impact Clark recently fell out of Minnesota's rotation, so his status will not have a big impact in fantasy hoops.

MARCH 5 • ROTOWIRE

Moves out of rotation Clark (coach's decision) went unused off the bench Thursday in the Timberwolves' 94-88 win over the Clippers.

Impact For the second straight contest and the third time in four games, Clark failed to see any playing time. The third-year player had previously appeared in 28 straight contests from Dec. 21 through the All-Star break, but he averaged just 12.3 minutes per contest over that stretch. Clark appears to have ceded his meager role in head coach Chris Finch's rotation to fellow wing Terrence Shannon, who has received just 10 total minutes while taking the floor for the past two contests.

JANUARY 22 • DUNKINGWITHWOLVES.COM

Muted role continues Clark ended with four points (2-6 FG), six rebounds, two assists and two steals across 18 minutes during Tuesday's 139-106 victory over Milwaukee.

Impact Head coach Chris Finch has often deployed a tight rotation throughout 2025-26, which has kept Clark from logging at least 20 minutes in all but five of his 38 appearances. Unless Finch shows more of a tendency to rely on his bench, Clark should remain hard-pressed for fantasy relevance.

Provides spark off bench Clark amassed 12 points (4-6 FG, 0-1 3Pt, 4-5 FT), two rebounds, three assists, one block and three steals across 28 minutes during Sunday's 141-115 win over the Wizards.

Impact Clark was efficient in limited chances Sunday and was the only Minnesota bench player to score in double figures. He was far more involved after logging only five minutes Saturday against Miami, as he ended up shouldering his heaviest workload of the 2025-26 campaign. Clark hasn't been able to consistently contribute so far this season for the T-Wolves, but this was certainly a step in the right direction.

JANUARY 5 • ROTOWIRE

Collects four stocks in win Clark posted 11 points (4-7 FG, 3-3 FT), four rebounds, one block and three steals over 19 minutes during Monday's 136-101 victory over Chicago.

Impact Clark hasn't played a major role off the Timberwolves bench this season, with only eight games with more than 19 minutes, but he made the most of his playing time on Monday night. The 24-year-old forward scored in double digits for the third time this season and led both teams with three steals. The UCLA product is averaging 4.5 points, 2.0 rebounds, 0.8 steals and 0.5 assists in 14.2 minutes per game in his sophomore season.

DECEMBER 20, 2025 • ROTOWIRE

Won't play Friday Clark (illness) won't suit up for Friday's game versus the Thunder.

Impact With Clark out for Friday's game there should be more minutes available for Terrence Shannon and Rob Dillingham in the second unit. For now, Clark should be considered questionable for Sunday's game against the Bucks.

DECEMBER 19, 2025 • ROTOWIRE

Timberwolves are facing a painfully obvious Jaylen Clark decision Jaylen Clark has been impactful in the limited minutes he's received, but he needs to play more.

DECEMBER 19, 2025 • DUNKINGWITHWOLVES.COM

Plays just nine minutes in loss Clark totaled two points (1-4 FG, 0-2 3Pt), one rebound, one block and one steal across nine minutes during Wednesday's 116-110 loss to the Grizzlies.

Impact Clark's role has dwindled, as he saw under 10 minutes of playing time for the first time since Nov. 26. This decreased role came even with Anthony Edwards (foot) and Mike Conley (Achilles) sidelined, which may be a concerning sign that Clark may be out of the rotation entirely once Edwards and/or Conley return.

Pops off bench Clark racked up 12 points (4-9 FG, 2-6 3Pt, 2-2 FT), two rebounds and one steal in 14 minutes during Thursday's 125-116 victory over the Pelicans.

Impact For the fourth game in a row, Clark saw minutes in teens off the bench. This was his third solid showing in a row, but until the minutes creep up even more, his fantasy appeal is going to be limited to the deepest of fantasy leagues.

DECEMBER 5, 2025 • ROTOWIRE

Impact Clark logged a season-high six boards in Monday's win, and has seen his role increase due Terrence Shannon (foot) being sidelined. While Clark has not taken advantage of Shannon's absence from a volume standpoint, averaging just 5 points and taking 3.3 field goal attempts in his last seven games, he has been efficient with the ball, shooting 47.8 percent from the field and 50 percent from three.
