Alperen Sengun - Struggles against Toronto Sengun posted zero points (0-3 FG, 0-2 FT), four rebounds, four assists and one block across 21 minutes during Thursday's 139-120 loss to Toronto.
Impact Eric Gordon (heel/personal) remained inactive, but Sengun moved back to the bench and had his quietest game of the season. Failing to score across 21 minutes of action, Sengun also missed a pair of free throws despite shooting 70.7 percent from the line this year. An outlier performance, the 19-year-old rookie can be excused for the occasional dud. The Rockets dealt Daniel Theis on Thursday, but his role likely wasn't substantial enough for Sengun's numbers to grow as a result.

Impact Mathews has been all over the map lately. He'll produce from deep, be productive from two-point range or collect from the charity stripe -- but rarely a combination and sometimes none. That being said, Thursday marked a realistic expectation for Mathews' nightly ceiling. On the season, Mathews is averaging 11.6 points and 3.4 rebounds per game.

Kevin Porter Jr. - Rains in six threes Porter closed with 30 points (11-16 FG, 6-9 3Pt, 2-3 FT), three rebounds, eight assists and one steal over 36 minutes during Thursday's 139-120 loss to the Raptors.
Impact Porter was part of another lowlight Thursday, as he seemingly accidentally bounced the ball into Toronto's hoop, giving the Raptors two points. Other than that, Porter tacked on 30 points of his own -- fueled by six threes. Porter shot 41.2 percent from deep over 12 games in January and is shooting a career-best 36.8 percent from beyond the arc this season.

Bruno Fernando - Traded to Rockets Fernando was traded to the Rockets from the Celtics on Thursday, along with Dennis Schroder and Enes Freedom, in exchange for Daniel Theis, Adrian Wojnarowski of ESPN reports.
Impact Fernando amounts to a throw-in in the deal, but the 2019 second-rounder should get a fresh start in Houston, where he could see a slightly larger role on a rebuilding club. Still, there's very little fantasy upside with Fernando, so he can be ignored in nearly all formats.

Dennis Schroder - Headed to Houston Schroder was traded to the Rockets on Thursday, along with Bruno Fernando and Enes Freedom, in exchange for Daniel Theis, Shams Charania of The Athletic reports.
Impact Leading up to the deadline, the Celtics made it clear that Schroder was very much available, and they were ultimately able to settle on a deal that brings Theis back to Boston. On the surface, adding Schroder doesn't make a ton of sense for the rebuilding Rockets, so it remains to be seen just how much of a role he'll hold alongside Jalen Green and Kevin Porter Jr. Over his final nine games in a Celtics uniform, Schroder averaged just 18.3 minutes, which he translated to 7.6 points, 2.8 rebounds and 2.4 assists. As an expiring contract, Schroder could be a buyout candidate.

Though Gordon returned to Houston's practice facility Wednesday, he doesn't look to be fully healthy just yet, which suggests he would have missed Tuesday's game even if he hadn't been tending to the personal matter. Even if Gordon proves during morning shootaround Thursday that the heel injury isn't a concern, he won't be a lock to suit up for the Rockets ahead of the game's 8 p.m. ET tipoff, given that he's a prime candidate to be dealt ahead of the trade deadline at the 3 p.m. ET that day.

It's a bit surprising that Porter previously hadn't scored more than 23 points this season given that he's one of the primary offensive engines for the team and posted a 50-point game last season. Porter will look to continue the strong play against the Raptors on Thursday.
