Daishen Nix - Nets four-year deal The Rockets announced Tuesday that Nix's two-way deal was converted to a standard NBA contract.
Impact According to Jonathan Feigen of the Houston Chronicle, the 20-year-old undrafted rookie's contract is for four years, a testament to the organization's optimism about his long-term upside. Nix, who went undrafted after bypassing college to play for the G League Ignite in 2020-21, has been one of the top performers in the G League this season while suiting up for the Rio Grande Valley Vipers. In 27 games, Nix has averaged 19.0 points, 6.0 assists, 5.6 rebounds and 2.3 steals per contest. The 6-foot-4 guard isn't expected to crack the NBA rotation anytime soon, but he could get the opportunity to challenge for a spot on the second unit heading into 2022-23.

Impact Martin finished with his highest point total thus far in February and shot an efficient 6-for-9 from the field. He was nearly invisible elsewhere on the stat sheet, however, despite logging a healthy 26 minutes. Martin averaged 6.5 boards over his previous two games, so fantasy managers can expect a bit more in that area than he showed Monday.

Dennis Schroder - Quiet in Rockets debut Schroder amassed four points (2-6 FG, 0-1 3Pt), three rebounds, five assists and one steal across 18 minutes during Monday's 135-101 loss to the Jazz.
Impact Schroder saw 18 minutes in his first game with the Rockets since being acquired in a trade last week. He didn't do much scoring during his time on the court, but the veteran did dish five dimes. Schroder could have a hard time racking up adequate stats to warrant a fantasy roster spot since he is likely to back up Kevin Porter at the point.

Eric Gordon - Scores 14 points in return Gordon (heel) racked up 14 points (4-10 FG, 3-6 3Pt, 3-3 FT), four rebounds, one assist and one block in 29 minutes during Monday's 135-101 loss to the Jazz.
Impact Gordon was back in action following a three-game absence due to a heel injury. The veteran didn't appear rusty from deep, making half of his six three-point attempts. Gordon is averaging over two-plus triples per game for the eighth straight season, but his peripheral stats are so minimal that he's no better than a low-end fantasy asset in most leagues.

Impact Tate had seen most of his playing time at small forward in the Rockets' last two games, but with head coach Stephen Silas moving Alperen Sengun to the bench Thursday, the second-year player shifted up to power forward. Even though Eric Gordon (heel) remained sidelined for the third straight game, the Rockets didn't make Sengun (21 minutes) as much of a priority, allowing Tate to pick up some extra minutes after he logged 32 in both of the previous two contests. Tate was able to take advantage of the elevated run, contributing in each of the main fantasy categories except for three-pointers. He's now averaging 10.6 points, 5.2 rebounds, 3.0 assists, 2.0 steals, 0.6 blocks and 0.4 three-pointers in 31.6 minutes per game over the Rockets' first five contests of February while shooting 73.3 percent from the free-throw line and 47.6 percent from the field. While he doesn't stand out in any one area, Tate's recent level of production makes him a low-end performer in 12-team leagues.
