Eric Gordon - Out again Wednesday
Gordon (groin) has been ruled out for Wednesday's game against the Kings, Jonathan Feigen of the Houston Chronicle reports.
Impact
Gordon will miss a third straight game. In his absence, Garrison Mathews will likely draw another start.

ROTOWIRE
Christian Wood - Out Wednesday
Wood (hamstring) won't play in Wednesday's game against Sacramento, Jonathan Feigen of the Houston Chronicle reports.
Impact
Wood's lingering hamstring injury will prevent him from seeing the court for a second straight matchup. Alperen Sengun is also nursing a knee injury, so Usman Garuba may be in line for a spot start Wednesday versus the Kings. The center may be able to return in time for the Rockets' next contest versus the Kings on Friday if everything goes as planned.

ROTOWIRE
Josh Christopher - Excellent play from bench
Christopher had 20 points (6-10 FG, 1-2 3Pt, 7-7 FT), six rebounds, six assists, two steals and one block across 30 minutes during Monday's 123-120 loss to the Spurs.
Impact
Houston's rookie first-round picks are certainly surging late in the season, as both Christopher and Jalen Green are enjoying increased usage and production. In the case of Christopher, he enjoyed a spike in playing time Monday with both Eric Gordon (groin) and Dennis Schroder (shoulder) sitting out. The two veterans are candidates to get shut down for the rest of the season as the Rockets prioritize younger players in their rebuild, so Christopher could be a sneaky source of fantasy value down the stretch.

ROTOWIRE
Kevin Porter Jr. - Approaches triple-double
Porter amassed 26 points (9-22 FG, 3-10 3Pt, 5-5 FT), nine rebounds, seven assists, one block and one steal in 36 minutes during Monday's 123-120 loss to San Antonio.
Impact
Porter and Jalen Green did all they could to notch a win and the Rockets looked much better than their 20-56 record might indicate. Although Porter could only muster three long-range makes in 10 attempts, his peripheral numbers were excellent, helping to pad his fantasy total.

ROTOWIRE
Jalen Green - Explodes for 30 points in loss
Green chipped in 30 points (10-24 FG, 6-15 3Pt, 4-4 FT), four rebounds, four assists and one block over 40 minutes during Monday's 123-120 loss to San Antonio.
Impact
Green is on an insane three-game run, averaging 26.0 points, 4.3 rebounds and 2.0 assists over that span. The rookie No. 2 overall selection is looking like a sound investment for the Rockets, who will try to find another playmaker to pair with Green in the draft this summer.

ROTOWIRE
KJ Martin Jr. - Victim of wild ending
Martin closed Monday's 123-120 loss to San Antonio with seven points (2-5 FG, 2-4 3Pt, 1-2 FT), four rebounds, one assist and two blocks across 26 minutes.
Impact
In the final seconds of regulation, Martin watched helplessly as his step-back three to force overtime swirled out of the bucket. Martin had a quiet performance after hitting double-digit scoring in three of his last five contests. He's a candidate for a usage bump as the Rockets pivot deeper into tanking mode down the final stretch.

Alperen Sengun - Nursing knee injury
Sengun was held out of the end of Monday's game against San Antonio due to a lower leg bruise, Danielle Lerner of the Houston Chronicle reports.
Impact
Sengun appeared to have suffered the injury earlier in the contest, which made him unavailable down the stretch. He'll be considered day-to-day until the team provides another update on his status.

ROTOWIRE
Alperen Sengun - Starting Monday
Sengun will start Monday's game against the Spurs, Jonathan Feigen of the Houston Chronicle reports.
Impact
The rookie first-round pick as come off the bench the past eight games but will start Monday's contest with Christian Wood (hamstring) unavailable. Sengun has averaged 11.4 points, 8.1 rebounds, 3.0 assists, 1.0 steals and 1.0 blocks in 27.5 minutes as a starter, and he'll remain in that role as long as Wood remains sidelined.

ROTOWIRE
Dennis Schroder - Out Monday
Schroder (shoulder) will not play Monday against the Spurs, Jackson Gatlin of Locked On Rockets reports.
Impact
Schroder is apparently dealing with a sore shoulder, but it's more likely that Houston is simply trying to get a look at some younger options down the stretch. Consider Schroder day-to-day ahead of Wednesday's game against the Kings.

ROTOWIRE
Christian Wood - Won't play Monday
Wood (hamstring) will not play Monday against the Spurs, Jackson Gatlin of Locked On Rockets reports.
Impact
At this point in the season, the Rockets' injury report will likely be pretty extensive on a game-to-game basis, so fantasy managers should be prepared to pivot. Prior to Monday, Wood had played in eight straight games, but he saw fewer than 28 minutes in four of his last five appearances.

ROTOWIRE
Eric Gordon - Ruled out
Gordon (groin) will not play Monday against the Spurs, Jackson Gatlin of Locked On Rockets reports.
Impact
In the midst of another late-season tank, the Rockets will hold Gordon, Dennis Schroder (shoulder) and Christian Wood (hamstring) out of action Monday. All three players could essentially be considered questionable on a game-by-game basis through the end of the regular season.

ROTOWIRE
Eric Gordon - Questionable for Monday
Gordon is questionable for Monday's contest against the Spurs due to right groin soreness.
Impact
Gordon sat out Saturday's win over Portland due to rest purposes, but the veteran is now dealing with a groin injury. If he's sidelined again, Garrison Mathews figures to be the primary beneficiary.

•
ROTOWIRE
Christian Wood - Dealing with hamstring injury
Wood is questionable for Monday's contest against the Spurs due to left hamstring tightness.
Impact
It's unclear when Wood picked up the injury, but he's one of three Rockets listed as questionable. If he's sidelined, Alperen Sengun figures to garner an increased role against San Antonio.

•
ROTOWIRE
Dennis Schroder - Dealing with shoulder soreness
Schroder is questionable for Monday's contest against the Spurs due to left shoulder soreness.
Impact
Schroder has scored in double figures in five of the last seven games -- including a 10-point, eight-assist outing Saturday. It's unclear when he picked up the injury, but if he's sidelined Monday, Daishen Nix and Josh Christopher are both candidates for increased roles.

ROTOWIRE
Eric Gordon - Not listed on injury report
Gordon (rest) is not listed on the injury report ahead of Monday's game against the Spurs, Adam Spolane of Sports Radio 610 Houston reports.
Impact
Gordon sat out Saturday's win over Portland for rest purposes, and as expected, he will be back in mix Monday. Over his last three appearances, the veteran has averaged 7.3 points, 1.3 rebounds and 1.3 assist in 23.3 minutes per game.

Kevin Porter Jr. - Registers double-double Saturday
Porter registered 10 points (4-11 FG, 2-6 3Pt), two rebounds and 11 assists in 30 minutes during Saturday's 115-98 victory over the Trail Blazers.
Impact
Porter didn't have his best shooting night, but he thrived as a distributor, leading all players with 11 dimes. The third-year guard finished with his first double-double since posting a 10-point, 10-assist performance against the Lakers on March 10. Porter is enjoying a strong month of March with per-game averages of 14.9 points, 5.9 assists, 4.1 boards and 2.4 three-pointers.

ROTOWIRE
Alperen Sengun - Explodes for career-best 27 points
Sengun had 27 points (10-16 FG, 2-4 3Pt, 5-8 FT), seven rebounds, three assists and one block over 26 minutes during Saturday's 115-98 victory over Portland.
Impact
Sengun entered the contest with just one career 20-point game to his resume, but he easily surpassed that mark thanks to a 10-for-16 shooting line against Portland. The rookie also grabbed a team-high seven rebounds in 26 minutes off the bench. Sengun remains too inconsistent to be a reliable fantasy asset down the stretch, though he certainly has shown the talent to put together the occasional strong performance.

ROTOWIRE
Jalen Green - Continues late-season surge
Green contributed 25 points (9-17 FG, 6-11 3Pt, 1-2 FT), six rebounds, two assists, one block and one steal across 32 minutes during Saturday's 115-98 win over the Trail Blazers.
Impact
Green put together another standout shooting effort in the win, going 6-for-11 from three-point range and 9-for-17 from the field overall. The rookie has knocked down 11 triples over his past two games and has registered 12 games with at least three treys across his past 21 contests. Green has improved his shooting considerably over the past two months -- he has pushed his season shooting rate to 41.7 percent after sitting at just 37.0 percent through the end of January.
