However, he delivered an impressive outing, showcasing his elite passing ability and once again proving he's one of the most versatile centers in the league. Sengun needs to be more consistent on a game-to-game basis, but he has the potential to become a stat-stuffing machine as the season advances.

Impact Green looked woeful against the Magic in the season opener Wednesday, putting up just 10 points (2-10 FG, 0-1 3Pt, 6-7 FT) while committing four turnovers and dishing out zero assists, but he bounced back admirably here. Green will likely see his usage rate decrease this season following the arrival of Fred VanVleet, something that's beginning to become noticeable just two games into the regular season, but the young shooting guard should remain a valuable player for Houston on the offensive end of the court.

Impact VanVleet looked much improved compared to his performance in the season opener, when he recorded 14 points while shooting 5-for-13 from the field against the Magic on Wednesday. While it wasn't enough to lift Houston to victory in a tough matchup that was decided in overtime, this was a step in the right direction for the veteran floor general.

Impact The Rockets acquired Oladipo along with Jeremiah Robinson-Earl -- who has since been waived -- in the Oct. 17 deal that sent Kevin Porter and two future second-round draft picks to the Thunder. Though the Rockets made the deal mainly for the purpose of ridding themselves of Porter's contract, Oladipo's spot on Houston's 15-man roster appears to be secure as he continues his recovery from another major knee injury. The 31-year-old could still be a candidate to be moved elsewhere at a later date, as his expiring $9.5 million contract could become useful around the Feb. 8 trade deadline if Houston needs to match salary in a larger deal. For the time being, however, Oladipo will conduct his rehab under the Rockets' supervision, but he's still likely multiple weeks away from being ready to play in games.
