Suns Reveal Starting Lineup vs Rockets The Phoenix Suns will have this starting five out against the Houston Rockets.
JANUARY 6 • SI.COM
Isaiah Crawford - Recalled from G League The Rockets recalled Crawford from the G League's Rio Grande Valley Vipers on Monday.
Impact Crawford will rejoin the parent club but isn't guaranteed to see meaningful playing time. He has averaged just 2.5 minutes per game in two regular-season appearances with Houston so far this season.

Suns Get Massive Boost Ahead of Rockets Game The Phoenix Suns are set to get back this sharpshooter against the Houston Rockets.
JANUARY 5 • SI.COM
Alperen Sengun - Likely to miss about two weeks Head coach Ime Udoka said Monday that Sengun (ankle) is likely to miss around two weeks, Lachard Binkley of SI.com reports.
Impact Sengun suffered a sprained right ankle in Saturday's loss to Dallas and is expected to miss an extended period. With the star big man on the shelf, Steven Adams will likely enter the starting lineup for the foreseeable future, while Clint Capela should see increased burn off the bench.
JANUARY 5 • ROTOWIRE
Steven Adams - Available and starting Monday Adams (ankle) is available and starting in Monday's game against the Suns, Lachard Binkley of SI.com reports.
Impact Adams has missed two consecutive games with an ankle sprain, but he's good to go Monday. With Alperen Sengun (ankle) set to miss a few weeks, Adams could be set to start for the foreseeable future. Adams has averaged 6.7 points, 9.0 rebounds, 1.7 assists and 1.0 steals in 26.7 minutes per game over seven outings as a starter this season, shooting 56.7 percent from the field.

Houston plays Phoenix, seeks 6th straight home win

Houston will try to keep its five-game home win streak intact when the Rockets face Phoenix
JANUARY 5 • Associated Press
Alperen Sengun - Won't play Monday Sengun (ankle) has been ruled out for Monday's game versus the Suns.
Impact Sengun getting ruled out a full 24 hours in advance of tip-off isn't a great sign, so for now, he should be considered questionable at best for Wednesday's game in Portland. Steven Adams (ankle) is questionable for Monday's game, and if he's forced to join Sengun on the inactive list, that could result in Clint Capela earning a spot-start.
JANUARY 4 • ROTOWIRE
Steven Adams - Questionable for Monday Adams (ankle) is questionable for Monday's matchup with the Suns.
Impact Adams has missed the past two games for the Rockets, but there's a chance he'll be able to get back out there Monday night. Check back for official word on Adams' status closer to Monday's tip.

"I told him his behind was too fat" - When an NBA journeyman shut down Charles Barkley in the 1995 Playoffs Phoenix Suns legend Charles Barkley massively underestimated the Hakeem Olajuwon-led Houston Rockets in the 1995 NBA Playoffs.
JANUARY 4 • BASKETBALLNETWORK.NET
Reed Sheppard - Limited in loss Saturday Sheppard accumulated eight points (3-10 FG, 2-6 3Pt) and five assists over 22 minutes during Saturday's 110-104 loss to the Mavericks.
Impact Sheppard logged just 22 minutes, continuing what has been a frustrating trend thus far this season. It appears as though Ime Udoka views Sheppard as a scapegoat, often limiting him when the team is struggling. While Sheppard remains a clear must-roster player, managers would love for Udoka to cut him some slack moving forward.
JANUARY 4 • ROTOWIRE
Aaron Holiday - Goes scoreless in loss Holiday contributed zero points (0-6 FG, 0-5 3Pt), one assist, one block and three steals over 14 minutes during Saturday's 110-104 loss to the Mavericks.
Impact Holiday offered very little despite playing 14 minutes, failing to score for the third time in the past five games. Although Holiday has been a consistent part of the rotation, his playing time typically fluctuates based on a number of factors. At this point, he should only be seen as an option in deeper fantasy formats.
JANUARY 4 • ROTOWIRE
Clint Capela - Seven defensive stats Capela recorded eight points (4-8 FG, 0-2 FT), eight rebounds, two assists, two blocks and five steals across 27 minutes during Saturday's 110-104 loss to Dallas.
Impact Capela had easily his best two-way performance of the season, taking advantage of the fact that Alperen Sengun left early due to an ankle injury. With Steven Adams (ankle) also unavailable, Capela is basically the last man standing when it comes to the center position. If both Sengun and Adams are to miss more time, Capela would become a viable target, even in standard leagues.

3 overreactions as Dallas Mavericks end four-game losing streak with win over Rockets The Dallas Mavericks finally get back in the win column with a win over their in-state rivals.
JANUARY 4 • SI.COM
Kevin Durant - Drops 34 points vs. Dallas Durant finished Saturday's 110-104 loss to the Mavericks with 34 points (14-26 FG, 2-7 3Pt, 4-5 FT), seven assists, five rebounds and three blocks over 38 minutes.
Impact Durant started strong and finished fast with 14 and 12 points in the first and fourth quarters, respectively. He has scored 30-plus points in three of his last four games and hasn't dipped below the 20-point threshold since Dec. 11 against the Clippers (16). Over his last 10 outings, Durant has averaged 27.5 points on 57.3 percent shooting (including 46.6 percent from three on 5.8 3PA/G), 6.1 assists, 5.7 rebounds and 1.8 blocks over 37.3 minutes per game.
