Impact Omoruyi drew a spot start Tuesday against the Heat with Jaylin Williams (ankle) sitting out another game, but he returns to the second unit with Williams back in the fold Thursday. Omoruyi doesn't figure to see nearly as much action Thursday as a result.

He isn't a player to target in standard formats but is at least worth keeping an eye on should he be able to carve out a larger role, at least in the short term.

He's not expected to gain a bigger role out of nowhere, though, and all signs point to this game being an outlier rather than the norm going forward. He should continue to spend plenty of time in the G League, as he's on a two-way contract.
