Puts up 18 points in preseason finale Brooks tallied 18 points (6-13 FG, 2-5 3Pt, 4-4 FT), four rebounds and an assist across 23 minutes in Friday's 119-116 preseason loss to the Jazz.

Impact Brooks delivered a productive offensive performance, finishing tied with Jalen Green for the team lead in scoring, and he seems ready for the regular season after logging 23 minutes -- only Devin Booker (26) and Khaman Maluach (24) played more than him. Brooks' scoring and perimeter shooting were encouraging in this game, though his fantasy value will depend on his offensive consistency and defensive contributions. He averaged a career-best 20.2 points per game while shooting 34.4 percent from deep in the 2025-26 regular season.

Suiting up Friday Brooks said he will play Friday against Memphis for the final preseason game, Duane Rankin of The Arizona Republic reports.

Impact After resting Wednesday against the Spurs, Brooks said he's looking forward to this tune-up game against his former teammate, Jaren Jackson. There's no word on how many minutes the starting group will play Friday.

Not expected to play Brooks is unlikely to suit up for Wednesday's preseason meeting with San Antonio after sitting out the full morning shootaround, Duane Rankin of The Arizona Republic reports.

Impact Brooks joins a lengthy list of Phoenix players expected to be unavailable, opening additional opportunities on the wing. With the Suns' preseason schedule wrapping up Friday against Utah, his next appearance could come in that contest.

Devin Booker enters 12th NBA season as Suns try to build on last season's surprise success

The Suns are hoping for growth from within, bringing back a big chunk of last year’s roster that had a surprisingly successful 45-37 record last season

Drops 15 points in win Brooks totaled 15 points (4-11 FG, 1-4 3Pt, 6-7 FT), two rebounds, two assists and one steal in 24 minutes during Saturday's 102-98 preseason win over San Antonio.

Impact Brooks turned in another decent performance, finishing as one of four Suns players to score double digits. Coming off the best season of his career, Brooks should once again find himself playing a key role for Phoenix. However, managers should remember that last season's production came during a time when others were injured. With Miles Bridges also now vying for touches, it is unlikely Brooks will be able to repeat his heroics from the 2025-26 campaign.

Scores 24 points with full line Brooks registered 24 points (7-9 FG, 3-5 3Pt, 7-8 FT), four rebounds, two assists and one steal across 23 minutes in Wednesday's 124-117 preseason loss to the Bulls.

Impact Brooks had the hot hand early for Phoenix, and he only missed two shots in his 23 minutes of floor time. Brooks averaged a career-high 20.2 points per game last season, but it could be tough for him to replicate that scoring with Miles Bridges in town and both Devin Booker and Jalen Green healthy.
