INJURIES

Promoted to starting lineup Carter is in the starting lineup for Tuesday's game against the Hornets, Sam Perley of the Hornets' official site reports.
Impact Russell Westbrook (foot) and Killian Hayes (foot) are both sidelined, leaving the Kings with Carter to fill the void in the first five. It'll be the third start of the year for Carter, who has averaged 17.0 points, 6.0 rebounds, 4.5 assists and 2.0 steals in 31.1 minutes per game as a member of the first unit so far.

Impact After a five-game absence due to a bruised right calf, Carter returned to action and wound up being thrust into a significant role because of an injury to Killian Hayes (toe). With Russell Westbrook (foot) also banged up, Carter could find himself in a position for extra ball-handling duties going forward. Across his past six outings, Carter has averaged 11.0 points, 4.2 rebounds, 2.8 assists and 1.3 steals in 18.7 minutes per game.

Carter erupts for career-best 24 points to lead Kings to 114-109 comeback win over Pacers

Devin Carter scored 22 of his career-best 24 points in the fourth quarter to power the Sacramento Kings to a 114-109 comeback win over the Indiana Pacers
MARCH 11 • Associated Press
Tallies career-high 24 points Carter produced 24 points (9-13 FG, 3-4 3Pt, 3-3 FT), five rebounds, three assists and one steal in 16 minutes during Tuesday's 114-109 win over the Pacers.
Impact Carter set a new career high in scoring after dropping 22 of his 24 points in the fourth quarter. This was an incredible outburst by the 23-year-old, who'd been held to single figures in the scoring column in his previous three matchups. Sean Cunningham of Fox 40 Sacramento pointed out that Carter appeared to be walking with a limp after the victory, so it'll be worth keeping an eye on his status leading up to the second half a back-to-back Wednesday against Charlotte.
MARCH 11 • ROTOWIRE
Back to bench Carter will come off the bench during Sunday's game against the Lakers, Ryan Ward of SI.com reports.
Impact Carter started Thursday's game against the Mavericks due to Russell Westbrook (thigh) being out of the lineup, but he will return to a bench role as Westbrook is back in action. Carter has seen at least 20 minutes in five of his last six appearances off the bench.
MARCH 2 • ROTOWIRE
Scores 15 in spot start Carter logged 15 points (6-13 FG, 0-3 3Pt, 3-6 FT), seven rebounds, five assists and four steals over 32 minutes during Thursday's 130-121 win over the Mavericks.
Impact Carter joined the starting five Thursday with Russell Westbrook (thigh) out of commission. The 23-year-old responded with a solid all-around line, as he set a new season high in rebounds while tying his season best in assists. Carter could be worth a streaming look until Westbrook makes his way back from injury, which could arrive as early as Sunday in Los Angeles.
FEBRUARY 27 • ROTOWIRE
Starting Thursday Carter is in the starting lineup for Thursday's matchup with the Mavericks, James Ham of ESPN 1320 Sacramento reports.
Impact Carter is getting a spot-start with Russell Westbrook (thigh) unavailable, and he'll be joined in the first unit by Nique Clifford, DeMar DeRozan, Precious Achiuwa and Maxime Raynaud. In Carter's previous start this season, he finished with 19 points, five boards, four dimes, one triple and one block, so he makes sense as a streaming option.
FEBRUARY 27 • ROTOWIRE
Playing Wednesday Carter (back) is available for Wednesday's game against the Rockets.
Impact Carter has been cleared to return from a one-game absence due to lower-back soreness. He has averaged 22.9 minutes per game across eight outings (one start) since Feb. 1 and has stepped into a more prominent role in the Kings' rotation in the absence of Lach LaVine (finger) and De'Andre Hunter (eye).
