Impact The Thunder announced earlier in the day that Bazley would be shut down for the season, as the team likely decided there was nothing to gain by rushing him back for the final eight games. It doesn't sound as though he's in jeopardy of missing any time in 2022.

Done for season with knee issue Bazley sustained a non-displaced tibial plateau fracture in his right knee and will miss the remaining eight games of the 2021-22 campaign, Marc J. Spears of ESPN.com reports.
Impact Bazley suffered the injury during Saturday's loss to the Nuggets and underwent an MRI the next day. The third-year forward finishes the season with averages of 10.8 points, 6.2 rebounds, 1.4 assists and 1.0 blocks in 27.9 minutes per game. In his absence, Aleksej Pokusevski and Aaron Wiggins are both candidates for increased roles.

Impact Bazley was questionable heading into the contest due to a non-COVID illness, but he was able to play against the Celtics and finished as OKC's leading rebounder. The third-year forward added an efficient 22 points to register his second double-double of March. Though he is shooting just 42.5 percent on the season, Bazley has been much better this month, posting a 52.7 percent field-goal rate over 11 contests.
