INJURIES

Waived by Sacramento The Kings waived Jeffries on Thursday, Keith Smith of Spotrac.comreports.
Impact Jeffries signed a training camp deal with the Kings on Wednesday but is now expected to join the club's G League affiliate, the Stockton Kings, for the 2025-26 campaign. Over 47 regular-season appearances (20 starts) with Charlotte last season, he averaged 6.7 points and 2.9 rebounds across 22.8 minutes per game.
OCTOBER 16 • ROTOWIRE
Joining Kings The Kings and Jeffries agreed to a deal Wednesday, Michael Scotto of USA Today reports.
Impact After spending last year in Charlotte, the journeyman forward's next stop will bring him to Sacramento. Jeffries is an option for frontcourt depth with Sacramento or perhaps a more significant role for the G League's Stockton Kings
OCTOBER 15 • ROTOWIRE
Former Knicks player is fighting for NBA life after latest move DaQuan Jeffries, who the New York Knicks traded in the Karl-Anthony Towns deal, just got released by the Charlotte Hornets.
SEPTEMBER 18 • DAILYKNICKS.COM
Waived by Charlotte The Hornets waived Jeffries on Thursday, Roderick Boone of The Charlotte Observer reports.
Impact Jeffries was slated to earn $2.7 million in 2025-26, but his contract wasn't guaranteed. With the Hornets adding a handful of rookies to the mix, as well as some veterans such as Collin Sexton and Spencer Dinwiddie, Jeffries became expendable. Charlotte's roster is now sitting at 20 players with training camp looming.
SEPTEMBER 18 • ROTOWIRE
Leads from deep in double figures Jeffries ended Sunday's 93-86 loss to the Celtics with 11 points (4-12 FG, 3-8 3Pt, 0-1 FT), four rebounds and one steal in 28 minutes.
Impact Jeffries provided a lift from deep in Sunday's regular-season finale, connecting on a team-high trio of threes while finishing as one of five Hornets with a double-digit point total in a losing effort. Jeffries reached double figures in scoring in 10 outings this season, connecting on three or more threes on eight occasions.
APRIL 14 • ROTOWIRE
Starting against Memphis Jeffries is in the starting lineup for Tuesday's game against the Grizzlies.
Impact Jeffries will push Seth Curry to the bench against Memphis on Tuesday. Over his last 11 outings in the first unit, Jeffries has averaged 11.3 points, 2.8 rebounds, 1.3 assists, 0.8 blocks, 0.6 steals and 2.2 three-pointers in 29.3 minutes while shooting 43.6 percent from beyond the arc.
APRIL 8 • ROTOWIRE
Back to bench Jeffries won't start Sunday's game against the Bulls.
Impact Jeffries started 14 of Charlotte's past 17 games, but he'll operate off the bench Sunday, giving way to Josh Okogie. As a reserve this season (26 games), Jeffries has averaged 5.2 points, 2.7 rebounds and 0.9 steals-plus-blocks in 18.0 minutes.

APRIL 4 • ROTOWIRE
Retreating to bench Monday Jeffries won't start in Monday's game against the Jazz.
Impact Seth Curry (knee) will receive the starting nod in his return to game action, pushing Jeffries to the bench. Over 16 appearances (13 starts) this month, the 27-year-old forward has averaged 8.8 points, 2.5 rebounds and 1.2 assists across 26.3 minutes per contest.
MARCH 31 • ROTOWIRE
Productive outing Friday Jeffries ended with 15 points (6-9 FG, 3-5 3Pt), five rebounds, two assists, one block and two steals across 26 minutes during Friday's 108-97 loss to the Raptors.
Impact Jeffries turned in arguably his best two-way performance of the season, continuing his recent run of form. With the Hornets positioned firmly toward the bottom of the standings, Jeffries should be a permanent fixture in the rotation for the remainder of the campaign. In seven games over the past two weeks, he has averaged 11.1 points, 3.3 rebounds, 1.0 blocks and 2.1 three-pointers in 28.0 minutes per game.

Pours in 19 points in loss Jeffries racked up 19 points (8-12 FG, 3-5 3Pt), five rebounds, two blocks and one assist across 32 minutes during Tuesday's 134-102 loss to Atlanta.
Impact Jeffries tied the team-high mark in points during an efficient outing Tuesday. Additionally, the 27-year-old recorded his second-highest scoring output on season, marking his fifth game with double-digit points. Jeffries has carved out a significant role in Charlotte's rotation this season, and he has started in seven of the club's last eight outings. The fifth-year forward has scored at least 13 points in three of those eight games.

Poor shooting night in rout Jeffries supplied five points (2-11 FG, 1-6 3Pt), five rebounds, three assists and two blocks over 36 minutes during Sunday's 123-88 loss to the Clippers.
Impact Although Jeffries logged a team-high 36 minutes in Sunday's rout, he failed to make a big impact in the box score. Jeffries has carved out a stable role in Charlotte's rotation of late, although it hasn't translated to much fantasy value. Over his past seven games, Jeffries has averaged 8.7 points, 1.9 rebounds, 1.4 assists, 1.0 blocks and 1.7 three-pointers in 29.4 minutes.
MARCH 17 • ROTOWIRE
Notches career-high 20 points Jeffries provided 20 points (8-15 FG, 4-9 3Pt), one assist and two blocks in 32 minutes before fouling out of Wednesday's 123-110 loss to the Hawks.
Impact Jeffries recorded a career-high 20 points in the loss, eclipsing 30 minutes for the second game in a row. Fantasy managers may need to see more performances like this before jumping onboard, as this was certainly an outlier. Over his last seven games, Jeffries holds averages of 6.4 points, 1.9 rebounds, 1.0 assists, 0.7 blocks and 1.1 three-pointers in 23.4 minutes.

MARCH 13 • Associated Press
Starting Monday Jeffries will enter the starting lineup in Monday's game against Miami.
Impact The 27-year-old will supplant Nick Smith in the starting five for the second time over the club's last three outings. Jeffries has averaged 3.4 points, 2.0 rebounds and 1.0 assists across 19.4 minutes per game in his last five outings (two starts).
MARCH 10 • ROTOWIRE
Back to bench Saturday Jeffries is absent from the Hornets' starting lineup against the Nets on Saturday.
Impact Jeffries has started in the Hornets' last two games and has scored six points in each of those contests. He will return to a reserve role Saturday while Nick Smith returns to the starting lineup.
MARCH 8 • ROTOWIRE
Contributes as starter in loss Jeffries ended with six points (3-5 FG, 0-1 3Pt), two rebounds, two assists and one steal over 27 minutes in Wednesday's 125-101 loss to Minnesota.
Impact Jeffries got his third start of the year Wednesday with Josh Green (illness) inactive, pitching in on the offensive end by connecting on a trio of shots and contributing on the glass and distributing in a losing effort. Of his three starts this season, Jeffries has recorded at least four points, two rebounds and two assists in two of those three outings.
MARCH 6 • ROTOWIRE
Starting Wednesday Jeffries is in the starting lineup for Wednesday's game against Minnesota.
Impact With Josh Green out with an illness Wednesday, a spot in Charlotte's starting five has opened up for Jeffries. Over two previous starts earlier this season, Jeffries has averaged just 2.0 points, 4.0 rebounds, 3.5 assists, 1.0 steals and 0.5 blocks in 30.1 minutes.

Grabs eight boards in return Jeffries (knee) posted six points (2-8 FG, 0-3 3Pt, 2-2 FT) and eight rebounds across 17 minutes Thursday in the Hornets' 103-96 loss to the Mavericks.
Impact Back in action after missing the previous four games due to a left knee effusion, Jeffries reclaimed a spot in the Charlotte rotation as a backup forward. When healthy, Jeffries has been able to hold down a regular role on the second unit since early December, but he hasn't produced well enough to put himself on the radar outside of deeper leagues. Over 23 appearances, Jeffries is averaging 5.0 points, 2.9 rebounds and 1.1 assists in 19.1 minutes while shooting 38.7 percent from the floor.
