Impact The third-year big man bounced back from a brief scoring slump that had seen him top out at 12 points over the prior three games. Holmgren has delivered more than 20 points in five of the six games prior to that, however, and through 12 contests in November he's averaging 16.6 points, 7.2 boards, 1.8 assists, 1.4 blocks and 1.2 threes while shooting 54.5 percent from the floor in 27.9 minutes.

Impact Holmgren had a rough offensive showing, and this five-point output was not only the first time he didn't score in double digits, but it was also his worst scoring output of the campaign. Holmgren did post decent numbers in other categories, such as rebounds, assists and blocks, so there's a chance this was nothing more than an off night for the big man. Holmgren is averaging a solid 16.4 points per game in November even when factoring in this five-point effort Sunday.

Over that span, he has averaged 21.2 points on 64.6 percent shooting, 7.5 rebounds, 1.3 assists and 1.3 blocks over 28.5 minutes per game.

Also, this was just the third time Holmgren has scored over 20 points in a game this season. He's averaging 19.1 points, 8.6 rebounds, 1.6 assists and 1.3 blocks per game in seven outings in 2025-26, but his numbers should improve even further if he's able to stay healthy and play regularly as he did before sustaining the back problem Oct. 27.
