Impact Atlanta was in needed of added depth at center while Jock Landale (ankle) is sidelined, so Houstan ended up being dropped from the roster to make room for veteran big man Tony Bradley, who is set to sign with the Hawks for the remainder of the season. After opening the season as a two-way player for Atlanta, Houstan had been upgraded to a standard contract in February. The fourth-year wing appeared in 18 games for the Hawks, averaging 2.3 points in 4.2 minutes per contest.

Recalled to NBA Atlanta recalled Houstan from the G League's College Park Skyhawks on Friday.

Impact Houstan will likely remain a depth option for the Hawks considering he hasn't played in an NBA game since Jan. 17. However, he has been active in the G League, where he has posted double digits in points and at least three rebounds in seven consecutive starts. He had his two-way-deal converted to a standard contract in February, but he may eventually be assigned again to the Skyhawks during the season.

Impact Houstan has been a standout for Atlanta's G League affiliate this season, particularly as a three-point shooter. He's made a total of 10 appearances at the NBA level for 4.9 minutes per contest, however.

Impact Houstan will rejoin the parent club ahead of Monday's game against the Bucks but is unlikely to be featured in the rotation. The two-way player logged 30 minutes Sunday in the Skyhawks' 112-103 loss to the Maine Celtics, finishing with 14 points (3-14 FG, 3-9 3Pt, 3-3 FT), four rebounds, one assist and one block across 30 minutes.

Back to NBA Atlanta recalled Houstan from the G League's College Park Skyhawks on Saturday.

Impact Houstan will join the NBA team for Saturday's game against Boston after being heavily involved in G League action during recent months. He's signed under a two-way contract but has yet to make a significant impact at the NBA level. With the affiliate club, he's averaging 16.4 points, 4.1 rebounds and 2.5 assists per contest.

Impact Including Houstan, Atlanta has just 10 players available for Wednesday's contest. However, the two-way wing appeared in a G League game Wednesday morning and played over 30 minutes. It's uncertain if he'll be anything more than an emergency option, but it's possible he sees the court in two games today.
