Returns to parent club The Pelicans have recalled Reeves from the G League's Birmingham Squadron on Saturday.

Impact Reeves has gone back and forth between the Pelicans and Squadron all season long and will potentially get another shot to prove his worth on the NBA level with New Orleans. In 17 games with the Pelicans, the 24-year-old has averaged 4.7 points and 1.1 rebounds per game in 9.1 minutes per contest.

Impact Reeves has been dominant in limited G League action, scoring 27.5 points per game. He's been used sparingly at the NBA level, however, averaging 9.1 minutes across 17 appearances.

Impact Reeves appeared in two games for the Squadrons and averaged 25.5 points, 5.5 rebounds and 3.5 assists over 39.6 minutes per contest over that span. He'll be available to play Sunday against the Kings, and he see some meaningful playing time off the bench due to Brandon Ingram (ankle) being ruled out indefinitely.

Impact Reeves finished with a career-high nine points as the Pelicans continue to turn to basically anyone on the roster for production. To this point, Reeves has played the majority of his minutes during garbage time, something that is happening with regularity for the undermanned Pelicans outfit. As soon as they start to get healthy, Reeves will likely move out of the rotation.

Impact Reeves was assigned to the Pelicans' G League affiliate on Monday, but he'll return to the NBA club ahead of Friday's matchup with the Pacers as the team is managing a number of injuries to the backcourt. Reeves could see playing time behind Jose Alvarado at point guard with CJ McCollum (thigh) already ruled out for Friday's game.
