Impact Reeves remained in the rotation, playing at least 15 minutes for the third straight game. After barely playing to begin his career, it appears as though the Pelicans have decided to at least give him an opportunity to experience the NBA up close. Having now lost 10 straight games, it makes sense for them to lean into their youth, with one eye on the future.

Rejoins parent club Saturday The Pelicans recalled Reeves from the G League's Birmingham Squadron on Saturday.

Impact Reeves will rejoin the parent club ahead of its matchup against the Nuggets on Monday. Despite being a member of the Pelicans' 15-man roster, the 24-year-old has seen little playing time at the NBA level of late, though he could crack the rotation with Dejounte Murray (Achilles) on the shelf for the rest of the year.

Impact Reeves finished with a career-high nine points as the Pelicans continue to turn to basically anyone on the roster for production. To this point, Reeves has played the majority of his minutes during garbage time, something that is happening with regularity for the undermanned Pelicans outfit. As soon as they start to get healthy, Reeves will likely move out of the rotation.
